في قلب غابات الأمازون الكثيفة، حيث تختلط الطبيعة بسكونها المخادع، تحوّل يوم عادي في ميناء إيباريا إلى مشهد مأساوي، بعد أن انهار جرف أرضي بشكل مفاجئ، مطلقاً فوضى عارمة ابتلعت البشر والمركبات في لحظات خاطفة. وبين الذهول وصيحات الاستغاثة، حصد الانهيار أرواح 12 شخصاً بينما لا يزال الغموض يلفّ مصير 30 آخرين، في حادثة هزت منطقة أوكايالي واستدعت استنفاراً واسعاً لإنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه.
وأفادت السلطات المحلية بأن الانهيار تسبب في جرف قاربَي ركاب كانا راسيين على ضفة النهر، ما أدى إلى غرقهما بالكامل.
وأوضحت أن الحادث وقع نتيجة تآكل ضفة النهر، مشيرة إلى أن أحد القاربين لم يكن يحمل ركاباً، في حين كان على متن القارب الثاني نحو 50 شخصاً.
وأكدت السلطات أنه تم طلب دعم البحرية البيروفية لعمليات البحث والإنقاذ، فيما لا تزال الجهود مستمرة للعثور على المفقودين وانتشال الضحايا.

Local authorities reported that the landslide caused two passenger boats that were moored on the riverbank to be swept away, leading to their complete sinking.
They clarified that the incident occurred due to the erosion of the riverbank, noting that one of the boats was not carrying passengers, while the second boat had about 50 people on board.
Authorities confirmed that support from the Peruvian Navy was requested for search and rescue operations, while efforts continue to locate the missing and recover the victims.
