كشفت وزارة الداخلية الفرنسية أرقاماً صادمة تكشف تصاعد العنف ضد النساء، حيث لقيت 107 نساء مصرعهن على أيدي شركائهن أو شركائهن السابقين خلال عام 2024، بزيادة بلغت 11% مقارنة بعام 2023، وفق ما أوردته قناة BFM TV استناداً إلى تقرير رسمي حديث.
ووفق الدراسة السنوية التي تُعنى برصد جرائم العنف الزوجي، فقد سُجلت 138 جريمة قتل بين الأزواج في فرنسا خلال العام الماضي، كان من بين ضحاياها 31 رجلاً. وأوضحت البيانات أن 90% من الجرائم وقعت داخل منازل الضحايا أو الجناة، مما يسلّط الضوء على خطورة العنف المنزلي الذي غالباً ما يحدث خلف الأبواب المغلقة.
وأشارت الأرقام إلى أن 49 من الجرائم نُفذت بأسلحة بيضاء، فيما استُخدمت الأسلحة النارية في 34 حالة أخرى. وتأتي هذه النتائج في وقت تشهد فيه فرنسا جدلاً واسعاً حول قضية المهندس سيدريك جوبيلار الذي أدانته محكمة الجنايات في منطقة «تارن» منتصف أكتوب بالسجن 30 عاماً بعد إدانته بقتل زوجته دلفين، التي فُقد أثرها منذ عام 2020 ولا تزال جثتها مفقودة حتى اليوم.
وأعادت القضية إشعال النقاش العام حول فاعلية الإجراءات الحكومية في حماية النساء من العنف الأسري، إذ يطالب ناشطون بتشديد العقوبات وتوسيع برامج الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي للضحايا المحتملات.

According to the annual study that monitors domestic violence crimes, 138 murders among couples were recorded in France last year, among which 31 were men. The data indicated that 90% of the crimes occurred within the homes of the victims or the perpetrators, highlighting the severity of domestic violence that often takes place behind closed doors.
The figures indicated that 49 of the crimes were committed with knives, while firearms were used in 34 other cases. These results come at a time when France is experiencing widespread debate over the case of engineer Cédric Jubillar, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison by the criminal court in the Tarn region in mid-October after being convicted of killing his wife Delphine, who has been missing since 2020 and whose body remains undiscovered to this day.
The case has reignited public discussion about the effectiveness of government measures in protecting women from domestic violence, as activists are calling for stricter penalties and expanded psychological and social support programs for potential victims.
