في خطوة علمية جديدة تُضيف فصلاً مميزاً إلى سجل إنجازاتها الفضائية، تستعد وكالة الفضاء الصينية للرحلات المأهولة لإطلاق مهمة «شنتشو-21»، التي تحمل في طاقمها المهندس وو فاي، أصغر رائد فضاء في تاريخ الصين، برفقة الطيار تشانغ لو والمتخصص تشانغ هونغ تشانغ، إضافة إلى 4 فئران صغيرة ستشارك في تجربة فريدة داخل المدار.
وأوضح الناطق باسم وكالة الفضاء الصينية تشانغ جينغبو خلال مؤتمر صحافي، أن عملية الإطلاق ستتم غداً (الجمعة) من مركز جيوتشيوان شمال غرب البلاد، ضمن برنامج متكامل لتوسيع الأبحاث الحيوية داخل محطة «تيانغونغ» الفضائية، التي تُعد القلب النابض للمشروع الصيني العملاق في مجال الفضاء.
وقال المهندس وو فاي (32 عاماً): «أشعر بالفخر لأن أكون جزءاً من هذه المهمة التاريخية. لقد تحول حلم الطفولة إلى حقيقة تُكتب اليوم في تاريخ الصين العلمي».
وتأتي مشاركة الفئران في هذه الرحلة ضمن أول تجربة صينية على الكائنات الحية داخل الفضاء، بهدف دراسة التأثيرات البيولوجية لانعدام الجاذبية، في خطوة تمهّد لتطوير مهمات مأهولة طويلة الأمد نحو القمر والمريخ.
من جهته، أكد القائد تشانغ لو (48 عامًا) أن الفريق على «أهبة الاستعداد لتقديم إنجاز يليق بطموحات الفضاء الصينية»، مشيرًا إلى أن العمل الجماعي والانضباط هما «سر نجاح أي مهمة في الفضاء».
ويُعدّ برنامج الفضاء الصيني اليوم واحداً من أكثر البرامج تطوراً في العالم، إذ حقق إنجازات بارزة خلال الأعوام الماضية، منها هبوط مسبار على الجانب المظلم من القمر عام 2019، وجلب عينات من سطح القمر عام 2020، بالإضافة إلى إرسال مسبار إلى المريخ في مهمة ناجحة وُصفت بأنها «قفزة علمية نوعية».
وتواصل وكالة الفضاء الصينية استعداداتها لمرحلة جديدة من مشروعها الطموح الذي يستهدف إرسال رواد فضاء إلى القمر بحلول عام 2030، مع تطوير مركبتي «لانيوي» للهبوط القمري و«منغجو» للرحلات المأهولة.
ويرى محللون أن هذه المهمة تمثل «اختباراً علمياً وإنسانياً بالغ الأهمية»، حيث تجمع بين التجربة الحيوية والرمزية الوطنية في آنٍ واحد، ما يعزز مكانة الصين كقوة علمية صاعدة تقود سباق الفضاء بخطى ثابتة.
In a new scientific step that adds a distinctive chapter to its record of space achievements, the Chinese manned space agency is preparing to launch the "Shenzhou-21" mission, which carries engineer Wu Fei, the youngest astronaut in China's history, alongside pilot Zhang Lu and specialist Zhang Hongzhang, in addition to 4 small mice that will participate in a unique experiment in orbit.
Chinese space agency spokesperson Zhang Jingbo explained during a press conference that the launch will take place tomorrow (Friday) from the Jiuquan Center in the northwest of the country, as part of a comprehensive program to expand biological research inside the "Tiangong" space station, which is considered the beating heart of China's giant space project.
Engineer Wu Fei (32 years old) said, "I feel proud to be part of this historic mission. A childhood dream has turned into a reality that is being written today in China's scientific history."
The participation of the mice in this journey is part of China's first experiment on living organisms in space, aimed at studying the biological effects of microgravity, paving the way for the development of long-term manned missions to the Moon and Mars.
For his part, commander Zhang Lu (48 years old) confirmed that the team is "on standby to deliver an achievement worthy of China's space ambitions," noting that teamwork and discipline are "the secret to the success of any mission in space."
Today, the Chinese space program is considered one of the most advanced programs in the world, having achieved significant milestones in recent years, including landing a probe on the dark side of the Moon in 2019, bringing back samples from the Moon's surface in 2020, and sending a probe to Mars in a successful mission described as a "qualitative scientific leap."
The Chinese space agency continues its preparations for a new phase of its ambitious project, which aims to send astronauts to the Moon by 2030, while developing the "Lanyue" lunar landing vehicle and the "Mengzhou" for manned missions.
Analysts believe that this mission represents "a scientifically and humanly significant test," as it combines biological experimentation with national symbolism, enhancing China's position as an emerging scientific power leading the space race with steady strides.
