ووفقًا لتقارير إعلامية أمريكية، فإن القصر الذي يقع على مساحة 3.2 فدان (نحو 13 ألف متر مربع) يُعد من أبرز العقارات في شمال غرب الولايات المتحدة، وهي المنطقة التي شهدت ولادة عملاق التجارة الإلكترونية «أمازون».
ويضم المنزل ثلاث غرف نوم وستة حمّامات، ورصيفًا خاصًا لليخوت والطائرات المائية يمتد لأكثر من 300 قدم على الواجهة المائية، في تصميم يجمع الفخامة بالعزلة.
وكان بيزوس قد اشترى العقار عام 2019 مقابل 37.5 مليون دولار، ما يعني أنه حقق ربحًا قدره 25 مليون دولار خلال ست سنوات فقط.
ويرى مراقبون أن هذه الخطوة تعبّر عن تحوّل جذري في نمط حياة بيزوس، الذي قلّص وجوده في سياتل بعد عقود قضاها فيها مؤسسًا لأحد أضخم المشاريع التكنولوجية في العالم، متجهًا نحو حياة أكثر هدوءًا وشخصية في ولاية فلوريدا.
In a surprising move, Amazon founder billionaire Jeff Bezos sold his luxurious mansion overlooking Lake Washington near Seattle for a price of $63 million, adding the deal to a series of rapid real estate moves that followed his announcement of relocating to Miami last year to live near his current wife, Lauren Sanchez.
According to American media reports, the mansion, which spans 3.2 acres (about 13,000 square meters), is considered one of the most prominent properties in the Pacific Northwest, the region that witnessed the birth of the e-commerce giant "Amazon."
The home features three bedrooms and six bathrooms, along with a private dock for yachts and seaplanes extending over 300 feet along the waterfront, in a design that combines luxury with seclusion.
Bezos purchased the property in 2019 for $37.5 million, meaning he made a profit of $25 million in just six years.
Observers believe that this move reflects a radical shift in Bezos's lifestyle, who has reduced his presence in Seattle after decades spent there founding one of the largest technology projects in the world, moving towards a quieter and more personal life in Florida.
