أعلنت شركة تشغيل مطار هونغ كونغ الدولي اليوم (الاثنين) أن طائرة شحن قادمة من دبي انحرفت عن المدرج أثناء الهبوط وسقطت في البحر بعد اصطدامها بمركبة على الأرض، وأفادت وسائل إعلام محلية بمقتل شخصين.
وقال مطار هونغ كونغ الدولي إن المدرج الشمالي للمطار أُغلق بعد الحادثة، مضيفا أن المدرجين الجنوبي والأوسط سيستمران في العمل. ووقعت الحادثة نحو الساعة 3:50 صباحا بتوقيت هونغ كونغ اليوم الاثنين (19:50 بتوقيت غرينتش الأحد)، وأكد المطار أن الطائرة كانت تحمل رقم رحلة طيران الإمارات.
وقال المطار الدولي في بيانه إنه تم إنقاذ أفراد الطاقم الأربعة الذين كانوا على متن الطائرة. كما تم إنقاذ أحد موظفي الخدمات الأرضية، بينما فُقد آخر. ونقلت صحيفة ساوث تشاينا مورنينغ بوست في وقت لاحق عن الشرطة قولها إن رجلين كانا على متن المركبة الأرضية لقيا حتفهما.
وأكد موقع «فلايت رادار 24» لتتبع الرحلات الجوية في منشور على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أن الطائرة التي خرجت عن المدرج في هونغ كونغ هي طائرة شحن من طراز بوينج 747. وأضاف الموقع على منصة إكس أن الطائرة تابعة لشركة طيران إير أكت، وهي شركة تركية توفر سعة شحن إضافية لشركات الطيران الكبرى.
The Hong Kong International Airport operating company announced today (Monday) that a cargo plane coming from Dubai veered off the runway during landing and fell into the sea after colliding with a ground vehicle, with local media reporting the deaths of two people.
The Hong Kong International Airport stated that the northern runway of the airport was closed following the incident, adding that the southern and central runways would continue to operate. The incident occurred around 3:50 AM Hong Kong time today (19:50 GMT on Sunday), and the airport confirmed that the aircraft was operating under Emirates flight number.
The international airport stated in its announcement that all four crew members on board the aircraft were rescued. One ground service employee was also rescued, while another went missing. The South China Morning Post later reported that police said two men aboard the ground vehicle had died.
Flight tracking website "Flight Radar 24" confirmed in a social media post that the aircraft that went off the runway in Hong Kong was a Boeing 747 cargo plane. The site added on the platform X that the aircraft belonged to Air Act, a Turkish airline that provides additional cargo capacity for major airlines.
