أطلقت الصين بنجاح، قمراً اصطناعياً تجريبياً جديداً إلى الفضاء، من مركز جيوتشيوان لإطلاق الأقمار الاصطناعية شمال غربي البلاد.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الصينية «شينخوا» أن القمر الاصطناعي «شييان-31» أطلق في تمام الساعة 6:00 مساء «بتوقيت بكين» على متن صاروخ حامل من طراز لونغ مارش-2 دي ودخل بنجاح إلى مداره المحدد مسبقا.
وسيُستخدم القمر الاصطناعي بشكل رئيسي في التحقق من تقنيات التصوير الضوئي الجديدة.
يذكر أن هذه هي المهمة رقم 599 ضمن مهام الإطلاق التي نفذتها سلسلة الصواريخ الحاملة من طراز لونغ مارش.
China successfully launched a new experimental satellite into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the northwest of the country.
The Chinese news agency "Xinhua" reported that the satellite "Xiyun-31" was launched at 6:00 PM "Beijing time" aboard a Long March-2D carrier rocket and successfully entered its pre-determined orbit.
The satellite will primarily be used to verify new optical imaging technologies.
It is worth mentioning that this is the 599th mission among the launch missions carried out by the Long March series of carrier rockets.
