أعلن تطبيق المراسلة الفورية «واتساب»، المملوك لشركة «ميتا» الأمريكية، إطلاق ميزة جديدة تتيح لمختبري النسخة التجريبية إضافة روابط ملفاتهم الشخصية على «فيسبوك» مباشرة إلى ملفاتهم على «واتساب»، في أحدث نسخة تجريبية لنظام أندرويد الصادرة برقم 25.29.10.70.
ووفقاً لموقع «واتساب بيتا إنفو WABetaInfo» المتخصص في أخبار «واتساب»، تتيح الميزة الجديدة للمستخدمين إضافة اختصار سريع يؤدي إلى ملفاتهم الشخصية على «فيسبوك»، ويظهر الرابط على الملف الشخصي للآخرين ويتيح لهم عرضه والتواصل بسهولة.
ويمكن للمستخدمين التحقق من الرابط عبر مركز الحسابات لتأكيد ملكيته، فيما يمكن عرض رابط غير متحقق دون التأثير على تجربة المستخدم على «واتساب».
وتعد إضافة رابط «فيسبوك» على «واتساب» اختيارية تماماً، إذ يمكن مشاركته مع أو دون تحقق. ويظهر الرابط المتحقق على «واتساب» مع أيقونة صغيرة تؤكد أن الشخص نفسه يدير كلا الحسابين، بينما تعرض الروابط غير المتحققة أيقونة عامة مع الرابط الكامل دون إثبات الملكية.
ويتيح «واتساب» التحكم في ظهور روابط ملفات المستخدمين على «فيسبوك» عبر إعدادات الخصوصية، بالانتقال إلى الإعدادات ثم الخصوصية ثم الروابط، حيث يمكن للمستخدم اختيار المشاركة مع الجميع أو جهات الاتصال فقط، أو تحديد أشخاص بعينهم، أو إبقاؤه خاصاً تماماً.
جدير بالذكر أن «واتساب» أضاف سابقاً دعماً لإضافة روابط «إنستغرام»، ومن المتوقع أن تتاح إمكانية ربط التطبيق بمستخدمي «فيسبوك» كافة في المستقبل.

Users can verify the link through the account center to confirm ownership, while an unverified link can be displayed without affecting the user experience on WhatsApp.
Adding a Facebook link on WhatsApp is completely optional, as it can be shared with or without verification. A verified link on WhatsApp appears with a small icon confirming that the same person manages both accounts, while unverified links display a generic icon with the full link without proof of ownership.
WhatsApp allows users to control the visibility of their Facebook profile links through privacy settings, by going to settings, then privacy, then links, where users can choose to share with everyone, contacts only, specific people, or keep it completely private.
It is worth noting that WhatsApp previously added support for adding Instagram links, and it is expected that the ability to link the app with all Facebook users will be available in the future.
