تحطمت أمس (السبت) مروحية في هنتنغتون بيتش، بالقرب من طريق ساحل المحيط الهادئ السريع وشارع هنتنغتون بولاية كاليفورنيا.
وسقطت الطائرة بين أشجار نخيل أمام فندق حياة ريجنسي.وأظهرت مقاطع فيديو متعددة نُشرت على الإنترنت الطائرة وهي تدور في اتجاه عقارب الساعة فوق هنتنغتون بيتش، ثم تسقط نحو حافة الشاطئ، حيث علقت بين أشجار النخيل. والتقط الفيديو رجال الإنقاذ، إلى جانب عشرات المارة، وهم يركضون إلى موقع الحادثة.
لم تتضح الأسباب
وأشارت مصادر إعلامية أمريكية إلى أن الحادثة التي لم تتضح أسبابها بعد، وقعت بعد الساعة (الخامسة مساءً بتوقيت شرق الولايات المتحدة) خلال فعالية «سيارات ومروحيات على الساحل». وتُعتبر هذه الفعالية تجمعًا شهيرًا للسيارات الفاخرة والنادرة، بالإضافة إلى المروحيات. .
A helicopter crashed yesterday (Saturday) in Huntington Beach, near Pacific Coast Highway and Huntington Street in California.
The aircraft fell among palm trees in front of the Hyatt Regency hotel. Multiple videos posted online showed the helicopter spinning clockwise over Huntington Beach before descending toward the edge of the beach, where it became entangled in the palm trees. The video captured rescue personnel, along with dozens of bystanders, rushing to the scene of the incident.
The causes remain unclear
U.S. media sources indicated that the incident, the causes of which are still unclear, occurred after 5 PM Eastern Time during the "Cars and Helicopters on the Coast" event. This event is considered a popular gathering for luxury and rare cars, in addition to helicopters.
