زار الموسيقار الكبير سليم سحاب مقر صحيفتي «عكاظ» و«سعودي جازيت»، وكان في استقباله رئيس التحرير المشرف العام على سعودي جازيت الزميل جميل الذيابي، والمدير العام الزميل عبدالله الحسون، ونائب رئيس التحرير الزميل عبدالله عبيان، وعدد من القيادات الإدارية والتحريرية.
وناقش اللقاء دور الفن في المجتمع وأثر الإعلام في تعزيز القيم الثقافية والفنية، إضافة إلى استعراض الحراك الفني والموسيقي والفعاليات الثقافية في السعودية في ظل رؤية 2030.
وخلال اللقاء، أكد سحّاب أن الإعلام اليوم يمثل منصة حيوية يمكن أن تساهم في نشر الوعي الفني وتطوير المشهد الثقافي الوطني، مشيدًا بالدور الذي تلعبه صحيفة «عكاظ» في هذا الإطار.
وبعد اللقاء، قام الموسيقار سليم سحّاب بجولة داخل أروقة «عكاظ»، حيث زار الأقسام المختلفة واطلع على آلية سير العمل من داخل غرفة الأخبار والإنتاج والمنصات الرقمية، وتعرف على الأدوات والأنظمة التي تعتمدها «عكاظ» في نقل الأخبار والمحتوى الإعلامي. وأبدى إعجابه بالتنظيم والاحترافية التي لمسها، مشيدًا بروح الفريق والتعاون بين العاملين.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة في وقت تواصل فيه «عكاظ» إحداث نقلات نوعية في محتواها الإعلامي، مع التركيز على توسيع دائرة الشراكات الثقافية لتعزيز المحتوى الإبداعي الذي يواكب تطلعات القراء ويثري المشهد الإعلامي الوطني.
The great musician Salim Sahhab visited the headquarters of my newspapers "Okaz" and "Saudi Gazette," where he was welcomed by the editor-in-chief and general supervisor of Saudi Gazette, colleague Jamil Al-Dhiabi, the general manager colleague Abdullah Al-Hassoun, the deputy editor-in-chief colleague Abdullah Abayan, and a number of administrative and editorial leaders.
During the meeting, they discussed the role of art in society and the impact of media in promoting cultural and artistic values, in addition to reviewing the artistic and musical movement and cultural events in Saudi Arabia under Vision 2030.
During the meeting, Sahhab emphasized that today’s media represents a vital platform that can contribute to spreading artistic awareness and developing the national cultural scene, praising the role that "Okaz" newspaper plays in this regard.
After the meeting, musician Salim Sahhab took a tour inside the "Okaz" premises, where he visited various departments and learned about the workflow from inside the newsroom, production, and digital platforms. He got acquainted with the tools and systems that "Okaz" relies on for delivering news and media content. He expressed his admiration for the organization and professionalism he observed, commending the team spirit and cooperation among the staff.
This visit comes at a time when "Okaz" continues to make qualitative shifts in its media content, focusing on expanding the circle of cultural partnerships to enhance the creative content that meets the aspirations of readers and enriches the national media scene.
