استفاق سكان ولاية تكساس الأمريكية على فاجعة صادمة بعد أن وُجهت تهمة القتل العمد لأم أقدمت على إطلاق النار على أطفالها الأربعة داخل سيارة، ما أسفر عن مقتل اثنين وإصابة الآخرين بجروح خطيرة.
مأساة إطلاق النار
بحسب بيان شرطة مقاطعة برازوريا، وقعت الحادثة فجر السبت، حين أطلقت أونيندا روميلوس (31 عامًا) النار على أطفالها بينما كانوا يجلسون داخل السيارة.
طفلان قُتلا واثنان بالمستشفى
الطفلان المتوفيان: صبي (13 عامًا)، وطفلة (3 سنوات). والناجيان المصابان: صبي (8 سنوات)، وطفلة (9 سنوات). كلاهما يخضعان حاليًا للعلاج وحالتهما مستقرة.
كفالة بـ14 مليون دولار
وجهت السلطات إلى الأم أربع تهم:
- تهمتا قتل
- تهمتا اعتداء مشدد باستخدام سلاح مميت
وقد تم تحديد كفالة مالية ضخمة بلغت 14 مليون دولار للإفراج عنها.

Tragedy of the Shooting
According to a statement from the Brazoria County Police, the incident occurred early Saturday when Oninda Romelos (31 years old) shot her children while they were sitting inside the car.
Two Children Killed and Two in the Hospital
The deceased children are a boy (13 years old) and a girl (3 years old). The injured survivors are a boy (8 years old) and a girl (9 years old). Both are currently receiving treatment and their condition is stable.
Bail Set at $14 Million
Authorities have charged the mother with four counts:
- Two counts of murder
- Two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
A hefty bail of $14 million has been set for her release.
What Did the Police Say?
Brazoria County Sheriff, Bo Stallman, stated that the motive for the crime remains unclear and investigations are ongoing. He also noted that the mother called the police herself to report her location.
