The neighborhood of Al-Janain in the Suez Governorate woke up to a horrific crime, after a man strangled his wife to death and then threw her body from the balcony of their third-floor apartment, attempting to portray the incident as an "accidental fall."

Attempt to Mislead the Police

The husband, who works in a local workshop, rushed his wife to the hospital claiming she had fallen from the balcony, but an examination of the body revealed the exact opposite, as signs of strangulation and clear resistance were evident on the victim's body.

Breakdown and Attempt to Escape

The accused became flustered during the investigations, especially when questioned about the timing of the incident, and he tried to flee from the hospital, but the police assigned to secure the emergency area apprehended him immediately, which heightened suspicions about his involvement.

The Family Reveals the Truth

The victim's family confirmed to the police that there were ongoing disputes between the couple, in addition to her being subjected to continuous beatings and humiliation by him, which supported the hypothesis of premeditated murder.

Confession Under Pressure

After confronting the accused with medical evidence and testimonies from the victim's family, he broke down and confessed to his crime, stating that he strangled his wife following a violent argument, and then threw her body from the balcony to divert suspicion. He was referred to the public prosecution to continue the investigations.
