أعلنت فرق الدفاع المدني العراقي، الإثنين، نجاحها في السيطرة الكاملة على حادثة حريق اندلعت داخل بناية تجارية مكونة من 3 طوابق، مخصصة لتجارة الإكسسوارات وأجهزة الموبايل، في منطقة شارع الربيعي بمنطقة زيونة وسط بغداد.
وأوضحت المديرية، في بيان لها، أن «فرق الدفاع المدني دفعت بثقل أسطولها الآلي التخصصي لتكافح النيران من الأعلى مع تنفيذ عمليات الاقتحام المباشر والدخول وسط المبنى، وإنقاذ المواطنين وتحجيم الخسائر الناتجة عن الحريق، وتطويق النيران ومنع انتشارها إلى الأبنية التجارية المجاورة».
وأضافت المديرية أن «فرق الدفاع المدني أنهت أعمال الإخماد والتبريد دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية، مع تحجيم الأضرار المادية الناتجة عن ذلك».
وطلب الدفاع المدني فتح تحقيق في مركز الشرطة المسؤول عن المنطقة الجغرافية المعنية، واستدعاء خبير في الأدلة الجنائية لتحديد الأسباب التي أدت إلى اندلاع الحريق.
The Iraqi Civil Defense teams announced on Monday that they successfully gained full control over a fire incident that broke out inside a three-story commercial building, designated for the trade of accessories and mobile devices, in the Al-Rubai Street area of Zayouna, central Baghdad.
The directorate clarified in a statement that "the Civil Defense teams deployed their specialized mechanical fleet to combat the flames from above while executing direct assault operations and entering the building, rescuing citizens, minimizing the losses resulting from the fire, and containing the flames to prevent their spread to neighboring commercial buildings."
The directorate added that "the Civil Defense teams completed the extinguishing and cooling operations without recording any human injuries, while minimizing the material damages resulting from it."
The Civil Defense requested an investigation to be opened at the police station responsible for the geographical area in question, and to summon a forensic expert to determine the causes that led to the outbreak of the fire.
