جعلت ميزة الترجمة المباشرة (Live Translation) الجديدة من آبل المحادثات المتعددة اللغات في تطبيق الرسائل أكثر سلاسة في نظام iOS 26، فعند إجراء محادثة مع أصدقاء أو زملاء يتحدثون لغات مختلفة، أصبح بإمكانك رؤية الترجمة الفورية للرسائل دون أن ينقطع تسلسل المحادثة، وذلك بعد تحديث نظام التشغيل في هاتفك إلى iOS 26.
وتعتمد مزية الترجمة المباشرة الجديدة في تطبيق الرسائل على نظام الذكاء الاصطناعي Apple Intelligence، لذلك فهي متاحة فقط على هواتف آيفون 15 برو، وسلسلة هواتف آيفون 16، وهواتف آيفون 17، وهاتف آيفون آير.
وتدعم المزية 9 لغات حالياً، هي: الصينية، والفرنسية، والألمانية، والإيطالية، والإنجليزية، واليابانية، والكورية، والبرتغالية (البرازيل)، والإسبانية، وعند استخدامها ستظهر جميع الرسائل بلغتين على جهازك، ويرى المستلمون الرسائل بلغتهم، بشرط أن يعمل هاتف آيفون بنظام iOS 26، أو جهاز آيباد يعمل بنظام iPadOS 26، أو حاسوب ماك يعمل بنظام macOS Tahoe.
كما يمكنك ترجمة الرسائل الواردة من هواتف آيفون القديمة أو هواتف أندرويد، لكن في هذه الحالة لن تُترجم ردودك تلقائياً في جهاز الطرف الآخر.
ولتفعيل الترجمة المباشرة في محادثة معينة في تطبيق الرسائل، اتبع الخطوات التالية:
ـ افتح تطبيق (الرسائل) Messages، ثم انقر فوق اسم جهة الاتصال في الجهة العلوية.
ـ فعّل خيار (الترجمة التلقائية) Automatically Translate.
ـ انقر فوق (ترجمة من) Translate From لتحديد اللغة التي تريد ترجمة الرسائل المكتوبة بها إلى لغتك الأصلية.
ـ نزّل حزمة اللغة إذا طُلب منك ذلك (حجمها يقارب 900 ميجابايت).
وبعد تنزيل حزمة اللغة، ستعمل الميزة فوراً، إذ ستُعرض رسائلك الصادرة بلغتك الأصلية مع نسخة مترجمة في الوقت نفسه، وستظهر الرسائل الواردة باللغة الأصلية مع إضافة الترجمة إلى لغتك إلى الجهة السفلية.
استخدام أدوات الترجمة السريعة
في أثناء المحادثات الجارية، يمكنك الوصول مباشرة إلى أدوات التحكم في الترجمة لإجراء أي تعديلات إذا أردت ذلك، وكل ما عليك فعله هو الضغط على زر (جارٍ الترجمة) Translating في الجهة السفلية من المحادثة لاختيار وضع العرض المناسب.
على سبيل المثال:
ـ حدد (الإسبانية والإنجليزية) Spanish & English لرؤية الرسائل باللغتين.
ـ اختر (الإنجليزية فقط) English Only لإخفاء الترجمة.
ـ انقر فوق زر (إيقاف الترجمة) Stop Translation لتعطيل الميزة مؤقتاً.
Apple's new Live Translation feature has made multilingual conversations in the Messages app smoother in iOS 26. When having a conversation with friends or colleagues who speak different languages, you can now see instant translations of messages without interrupting the flow of the conversation, after updating your device to iOS 26.
The new live translation feature in the Messages app relies on Apple Intelligence AI, so it is only available on iPhone 15 Pro, the iPhone 16 series, iPhone 17, and iPhone Air.
The feature currently supports 9 languages: Chinese, French, German, Italian, English, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish. When used, all messages will appear in two languages on your device, and recipients will see the messages in their language, provided that the iPhone is running iOS 26, or an iPad is running iPadOS 26, or a Mac computer is running macOS Tahoe.
You can also translate messages coming from older iPhones or Android phones, but in this case, your replies will not be automatically translated on the other person's device.
To enable live translation in a specific conversation in the Messages app, follow these steps:
- Open the Messages app, then tap on the contact's name at the top.
- Turn on the Automatically Translate option.
- Tap on Translate From to select the language you want to translate the written messages into your native language.
- Download the language pack if prompted (its size is approximately 900 MB).
After downloading the language pack, the feature will work immediately, as your outgoing messages will be displayed in your native language with a translated version at the same time, and incoming messages will appear in the original language with the translation to your language added at the bottom.
Using Quick Translation Tools
During ongoing conversations, you can directly access translation control tools to make any adjustments if you wish, and all you need to do is press the Translating button at the bottom of the conversation to choose the appropriate display mode.
For example:
- Select Spanish & English to see messages in both languages.
- Choose English Only to hide the translation.
- Tap the Stop Translation button to temporarily disable the feature.
