أصيب المشيعون في جنازة بالذهول عندما دخل فجأة «الرجل الميت» الذي تجمعوا لدفنه وأعلن: «أنا على قيد الحياة!»
وبحسب صحيفة «ذا صن»، فقد أثار الشاب البالغ من العمر 22 عاما دهشة الأصدقاء والأقارب عندما وصل جنازته التي أقيمت في الأرجنتين، تاركا الجميع يتساءلون من كان في النعش.
الواقعة الغريبة بدأت حين اختفى الشاب ويدعى خورخي لأيام، وخلال تلك الفترة، صدمت شاحنة شابا مجهول الهوية في مقاطعة توكومان شمال البلاد، لتشتبه الشرطة بأنه انتحار.
وبعد العثور على الجثة، زعمت والدة خورخي أنها تعرفت على ابنها من ملابسه وبعض السمات الجسدية، فتم تسليم الجثة للعائلة وإصدار شهادة وفاة رسمية.
ولكن بينما كان المشيعون يبكون على النعش، ظهر ابنها الحقيقي فجأة متعثرا - على قيد الحياة، وبصحة جيدة، ويبدو أنه خرج للتو من حالة سكر استمرت لعدة أيام.
في وقت لاحق، تم التأكد من أن الجثة تعود إلى رجل آخر يُدعى ماكسيميليانو إنريكي أكوستا (28 عاما)، من بلدة دلفين جالو القريبة.
لكن المأساة لم تنتهِ عند هذا الحد، إذ سُلمت جثة خاطئة أخرى لعائلة أكوستا، ما دفعهم للمطالبة بالتحقيق.
وقال شقيق الضحية، هيرنان أكوستا، لوسائل الإعلام المحلية: «كل شيء كان خاطئا منذ البداية. سلموا الجثة دون التحقق من الهوية، ثم اضطررت للذهاب إلى المشرحة مرتين. لا ينبغي أن نمر بكل هذا الألم بعد فقدان شقيقي».
وفي نهاية المطاف، أُعيد جثمان ماكسيميليانو إنريكي أكوستا إلى عائلته، وأُقيمت له جنازة رسمية.

According to The Sun, the 22-year-old shocked friends and family when he arrived at his own funeral in Argentina, leaving everyone wondering who was in the coffin.
The bizarre incident began when the young man, named Jorge, went missing for days, and during that time, an unidentified young man was struck by a truck in the Tucumán province in the north of the country, leading police to suspect it was a suicide.
After the body was found, Jorge's mother claimed she recognized her son by his clothes and some physical features, so the body was handed over to the family and an official death certificate was issued.
But while mourners were crying over the coffin, her real son suddenly appeared, stumbling in - alive and well, seemingly just coming out of a days-long drunken stupor.
Later, it was confirmed that the body belonged to another man named Maximiliano Enrique Acosta (28 years old), from the nearby town of Delfín Gallo.
But the tragedy did not end there, as another wrong body was handed over to the Acosta family, prompting them to demand an investigation.
Hernan Acosta, the victim's brother, told local media: "Everything was wrong from the start. They handed over the body without verifying the identity, and then I had to go to the morgue twice. We shouldn't have to go through all this pain after losing my brother."
Ultimately, the body of Maximiliano Enrique Acosta was returned to his family, and a formal funeral was held for him.
