في حادثة غريبة أثارت جدلاً واسعاً في كندا، أقدم رجل أربعيني على قيادة سيارة لعبة وردية اللون من طراز «باربي» مخصّصة للأطفال، في محاولة للوصول إلى متجر وشراء مشروب.
مطاردة بسرعة 8 كيلومترات
المتهم ويدعى كاسبر لينكولن (40 عاماً) قاد المركبة البلاستيكية الصغيرة – المصممة أساساً للأطفال دون السابعة – وسط حركة مرور مزدحمة في مدينة برنس جورج بمقاطعة كولومبيا البريطانية. ورغم أن السيارة لا تتجاوز سرعتها 5 أميال في الساعة، إلا أن وجودها على الطريق السريع أربك السائقين، ودفع الشرطة للتدخل.
القانون لا يرحم
أوضحت الشرطة أن أي مركبة تعمل بالطاقة، حتى وإن كانت لعبة، تُصنَّف قانوناً كمركبة تحتاج إلى رخصة وتأمين. أما لينكولن الذي كان يقود برخصة معلّقة وفشل في اختبار الكحول، فقد أُلقي القبض عليه بتهمة القيادة الممنوعة، وصودرت السيارة وأُعيدت إلى صاحبتها الطفلة.
ردود فعل ساخرة
انتشرت صور الرجل وهو محشور داخل السيارة الوردية بسرعة على وسائل التواصل، حيث سخر البعض من المشهد وسأله آخرون إن كان «كين» الحقيقي من عالم باربي. أما هو فقد اكتفى بالضحك قائلاً: «كنت أستخدم إشارات اليد وأتصرّف وكأنها سيارة عادية».
نهاية غير متوقعة
بينما ظن لينكولن أن الأمر لا يتعدى نكتة مضحكة، كان للشرطة رأي آخر؛ إذ يواجه الآن حظراً مدته 90 يوماً عن القيادة، إضافة إلى جلسة محاكمة مقررة في ديسمبر القادم.

The suspect, named Casper Lincoln (40 years old), drove the small plastic vehicle—originally intended for children under seven—through heavy traffic in Prince George, British Columbia. Although the car does not exceed speeds of 5 miles per hour, its presence on the highway confused drivers and prompted police intervention.
The Law is Ruthless
The police clarified that any powered vehicle, even if it is a toy, is legally classified as a vehicle that requires a license and insurance. Lincoln, who was driving with a suspended license and failed a breathalyzer test, was arrested for prohibited driving, and the car was confiscated and returned to its young owner.
Mocking Reactions
Photos of the man wedged inside the pink car quickly spread on social media, where some mocked the scene and others asked him if he was the "real Ken" from the Barbie universe. He simply laughed and said, "I was using hand signals and acting like it was a regular car."
An Unexpected End
While Lincoln thought it was just a funny joke, the police had a different opinion; he now faces a 90-day driving ban, in addition to a court hearing scheduled for next December.
