كشفت وزارة الداخلية المصرية، اليوم، مستجدات في قضية وفاة الدكتور أحمد الدجوي حفيد سيدة الأعمال البارزة نوال الدجوي، مؤكدة أن تقريراً تم تداوله عبر بعض المواقع وصفحات التواصل الاجتماعي حول الحادثة لا أساس له من الصحة.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن التقرير الذي زعم أن الوفاة جنائية وليست انتحاراً، لم يصدر عن أي جهة حكومية أو مؤسسة للطب الشرعي، وإنما أعدته طبيبة متقاعدة بمحافظة الغربية تدير مركزاً غير مرخص للاستشارات الفنية، بعد أن تقاضت مبلغاً مالياً من أحد أفراد الأسرة.
وأكد البيان أن الأجهزة الأمنية أحالت الطبيبة إلى النيابة العامة التي تولت التحقيق في الواقعة.
رواية العائلة: شبهة قتل
في المقابل، تمسك شقيق الراحل عمرو الدجوي بوجود شبهة جنائية، مشيراً إلى استعانته بخبراء أدلة جنائية من داخل مصر وخارجها.
وقال إن المعاينات رصدت «نقاطاً عمياء» في كاميرات المراقبة، وآثار تسلق على سور الفيلا، إضافة إلى كدمات على جسد شقيقه، وتيبس في اليد اليمنى. كما تحدث عن اختفاء الحاسوب الشخصي وأوراق مهمة، واعتبر أن شقيقه تعرض للتخدير قبل مقتله.
خلفية الواقعة
وكانت السلطات المصرية أعلنت في وقت سابق أن أحمد الدجوي أطلق النار على نفسه داخل مسكنه بمدينة 6 أكتوبر مستخدماً سلاحاً مرخصاً، مشيرة إلى أنه كان يتلقى علاجاً نفسياً خلال الفترة الأخيرة، وسافر للعلاج بالخارج قبل أيام قليلة من الحادثة.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed today updates on the case of the death of Dr. Ahmed Al-Dajawi, the grandson of prominent businesswoman Nawal Al-Dajawi, confirming that a report circulated on some websites and social media pages regarding the incident is unfounded.
The ministry clarified that the report, which claimed that the death was criminal and not a suicide, was not issued by any government agency or forensic institution, but was prepared by a retired doctor in Gharbia governorate who runs an unlicensed center for technical consultations, after receiving a financial sum from a family member.
The statement confirmed that the security services referred the doctor to the public prosecution, which took over the investigation into the incident.
Family's Account: Suspicion of Murder
In contrast, the late Ahmed Al-Dajawi's brother, Amr Al-Dajawi, insisted on the existence of criminal suspicion, noting that he sought the help of forensic experts from within Egypt and abroad.
He stated that the examinations revealed "blind spots" in the surveillance cameras, signs of climbing on the villa's wall, in addition to bruises on his brother's body and stiffness in the right hand. He also mentioned the disappearance of the personal computer and important documents, considering that his brother was sedated before his death.
Background of the Incident
Earlier, Egyptian authorities announced that Ahmed Al-Dajawi shot himself inside his residence in 6th of October City using a licensed firearm, indicating that he had been receiving psychological treatment recently and had traveled abroad for treatment just a few days before the incident.
