She said she was working at a restaurant near Praia da Luz beach on the night of Madeleine's disappearance and returned home after 10:30 PM, shortly after the girl went missing. She added, "I don't even know if there was a car accident because I was at work."
She also mentioned that the Portuguese police searched her apartment and once requested that she empty her refrigerator, which frustrated her.
