ضرب زلزال بقوة 4.5 درجة على مقياس ريختر أمس (الأحد)، ولاية باليكسير غربي تركيا.
وذكرت رئاسة إدارة الكوارث والطوارئ التركية «آفاد»، في بيان، أن زلزالا بقوة 4.5 درجة وقع في منطقة صنديرغي التابعة لولاية باليكسير.
عمق الزلزال
وأوضح البيان أن الزلزال وقع عند الساعة 23.03 بالتوقيت المحلي وبلغ عمق الزلزال 6.93 كلم تحت سطح الأرض.
وكانت «آفاد» أعلنت عن وقوع زلزال بقوة 4.9 درجة في نفس المنطقة ظهر (الأحد)، عند الساعة 12.35 بالتوقيت المحلي.
زلزال سابق في الشهر الماضي
وفي الشهر الماضي، ضرب زلزال بقوة 6.1 درجة المنطقة نفسها وأسفر عن مقتل شخص وتسبب في انهيار بعض المباني.
A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck yesterday (Sunday) in Balıkesir province, western Turkey.
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) stated in a report that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 occurred in the Sandıklı area of Balıkesir province.
Depth of the earthquake
The report clarified that the earthquake occurred at 23:03 local time and had a depth of 6.93 kilometers below the surface.
AFAD had previously announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 had occurred in the same area earlier (Sunday) at 12:35 local time.
Previous earthquake last month
Last month, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck the same area, resulting in one death and causing some buildings to collapse.
