توفي سائح فلبيني يبلغ من العمر 53 عاماً أثناء زيارته ديزني لاند هونغ كونغ، بعدما فقد وعيه بشكل مفاجئ داخل لعبة Frozen Ever After الشهيرة وهو برفقة زوجته.
وبحسب صحيفة ذا صن، فقد سارعت الزوجة إلى إبلاغ الموظفين بعد دخوله في غيبوبة مفاجئة، إذ جرى تنفيذ الإسعافات الأولية والإنعاش القلبي الرئوي على الفور، قبل نقله إلى مستشفى شمال لانتاو، إلا أن الأطباء أعلنوا وفاته المأساوية في الساعة 11:30 صباحاً بالتوقيت المحلي.
وأوضحت الزوجة أن الراحل كان يعاني من أمراض مزمنة في القلب وارتفاع ضغط الدم، ما يرجح أن تكون حالته الصحية هي السبب المباشر للوفاة، في حين أكد التحقيق الأولي أن الحادثة لا علاقة لها بسلامة اللعبة.
وعبرت إدارة المنتجع عن «بالغ أسفها» وقدمت دعمها الكامل للعائلة، بينما أعلنت القنصلية الفلبينية في هونغ كونغ متابعتها للقضية وتقديم المساعدة لذوي الضحية.
يذكر أن لعبة Frozen Ever After تُعد من أبرز معالم «World of Frozen» الذي افتُتح في أواخر 2023، ورغم أنها مصنفة كرحلة عائلية هادئة، إلا أن التطبيق الرسمي لديزني ينصح النساء الحوامل وأصحاب المشكلات الصحية بتجنبها.
A 53-year-old Filipino tourist died while visiting Hong Kong Disneyland after suddenly losing consciousness inside the popular Frozen Ever After ride while accompanying his wife.
According to The Sun newspaper, the wife quickly alerted the staff after he fell into a sudden coma, and first aid and CPR were immediately administered before he was transported to North Lantau Hospital. However, doctors pronounced him dead at 11:30 AM local time.
The wife explained that the deceased had chronic heart diseases and high blood pressure, which suggests that his health condition was the direct cause of death, while the preliminary investigation confirmed that the incident was not related to the safety of the ride.
The resort management expressed their "deepest condolences" and offered their full support to the family, while the Philippine consulate in Hong Kong announced that it is following up on the case and providing assistance to the victim's relatives.
It is worth noting that the Frozen Ever After ride is one of the main attractions of "World of Frozen," which opened in late 2023. Although it is classified as a calm family ride, Disney's official app advises pregnant women and individuals with health issues to avoid it.
