في حادثة مرورية مأساوية شهدها الطريق الصحراوي الغربي أمام قرية الدير الغربي بمركز قنا، ولقي خمسة أشخاص مصرعهم وأصيب ستة آخرون إثر تصادم عنيف بين ثلاث سيارات.
وأدت الحادثة إلى خسائر بشرية ومادية كبيرة، ما أثار حالة من الحزن والصدمة في المنطقة.
وتلقت مديرية أمن قنا إخطارًا من غرفة العمليات، بناءً على بلاغ من هيئة الإسعاف برئاسة الدكتور محمد فؤاد، يفيد بوقوع الحادثة المروعة.
ووفقًا للتقارير الأولية، وقع التصادم على الطريق الصحراوي الغربي، وهو طريق معروف بحركته المرورية الكثيفة وتكرار الحوادث عليه بسبب السرعة الزائدة ورداءة بعض المقاطع.
وأسفرت الحادثة عن وفاة خمسة أشخاص، تم التعرف على اثنين منهم، بينما لا تزال جهود التعرف على الجثامين الثلاثة الأخرى جارية، وتم نقل الجثامين إلى مشرحة مستشفى قنا الجامعي لإجراء الفحوصات اللازمة تحت إشراف الجهات المختصة.
أما المصابون الستة، فقد تنوعت إصاباتهم بين جروح وكدمات وسحجات، وبعض الحالات الحرجة التي تشمل اشتباهًا بكسور في الجمجمة وغيبوبة، وتم نقل المصابين إلى مستشفى قنا الجامعي لتلقي العلاج، حيث يتلقى بعضهم الرعاية في العناية المركزة.
وقررت الجهات المختصة فتح تحقيق عاجل للكشف عن أسباب الحادثة، وتم تحرير محضر بالواقعة، وتولت النيابة العامة التحقيقات لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
في سياق منفصل، شهدت محافظة الإسماعيلية حريقًا داخل مستشفى جامعة قناة السويس، أدى إلى إصابة 30 شخصًا بحالات اختناق نتيجة تصاعد الأدخنة الكثيفة.
وتمكنت قوات الحماية المدنية من السيطرة على الحريق دون تسجيل وفيات، ودفع مرفق إسعاف الإسماعيلية بعدد من سيارات الإسعاف لنقل المصابين وتقديم الإسعافات الأولية.
وأكدت إدارة المستشفى أن الوضع تحت السيطرة، ويجري حصر الخسائر المادية وتحديد أسباب الحريق، بينما باشرت النيابة العامة التحقيقات لمعرفة ملابسات الواقعة.

The incident resulted in the death of five people, two of whom have been identified, while efforts to identify the other three bodies are ongoing. The bodies have been transferred to the morgue of Qena University Hospital for necessary examinations under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
As for the six injured individuals, their injuries varied between cuts, bruises, and abrasions, with some critical cases including suspected skull fractures and coma. The injured were transported to Qena University Hospital for treatment, where some are receiving care in the intensive care unit.
The relevant authorities decided to open an urgent investigation to uncover the causes of the incident, and a report was filed regarding the incident. The public prosecution has taken over the investigations to take the necessary legal actions.
In a separate context, a fire broke out at the Suez Canal University Hospital in Ismailia, resulting in 30 people suffering from suffocation due to the thick smoke.
The civil protection forces managed to control the fire without recording any fatalities, and the Ismailia ambulance service dispatched several ambulances to transport the injured and provide first aid.
The hospital administration confirmed that the situation is under control, and efforts are underway to assess the material losses and determine the causes of the fire, while the public prosecution has initiated investigations to understand the circumstances of the incident.
