كشفت الأجهزة الأمنية بوزارة الداخلية المصرية تفاصيل القبض على البلوغر محمد أوتاكا بتهمة نشر مقاطع فيديو بمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تتضمن ألفاظاً خادشة للحياء.
وأوضحت الأجهزة الأمنية أن قرار ضبط أوتاكا جاء في إطار ورود عدد من البلاغات لنشره مقاطع فيديو بمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تتضمن ألفاظاً خادشة للحياء تمثل خروجاً سافراً على الآداب العامة.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية أنه عقب تقنين الإجراءات تم ضبط المذكور وهو مقيم بدائرة قسم شرطة الشروق بالقاهرة وبحوزته كمية من مخدري «الحشيش» و«الكوكايين»، وبمواجهته اعترف بحيازته للمواد المخدرة بقصد الاتجار.
وخلال التحقيقات اعترف صانع المحتوى الشهير، الذي تم تقديم البلاغات ضده بسبب مقاطع فيديو خادشة للحياء، بنشره مقاطع الفيديو المشار إليها لزيادة نسب المشاهدات على صفحته بمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بهدف تحقيق أرباح مالية.
وتشهد مصر خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة حملة مكثفة من قبل السلطات لمراقبة المحتوى الرقمي على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، بهدف الحد من انتشار المواد التي تعتبر خادشة للحياء أو مخالفة للقيم العامة في المجتمع المصري المحافظ.
وتأتي الحملات في إطار قانون مكافحة جرائم الإنترنت لعام 2018، الذي يمنح السلطات صلاحيات واسعة لتتبع المحتوى الرقمي وحظر الحسابات التي تحتوي على أكثر من 5000 متابع إذا اعتبرت تهديداً للأمن القومي أو الآداب العامة.
ويعد البلوغر محمد أوتاكا المعروف بمقاطع فيديو تتضمن محتوى ترفيهياً واجتماعياً، واحداً من عدة صانعي محتوى تم استهدافهم أخيراً، بسبب ما اعتبرته السلطات خروجاً على الآداب، إذ كثفت السلطات المصرية جهودها لضبط صانعي المحتوى الذين ينظر إليهم على أنهم يروجون لمحتوى غير لائق.
وإلى جانب التهم المتعلقة بالمحتوى الرقمي، يعد العثور على مواد مخدرة مثل الحشيش والكوكايين بحوزة المتهمين تهمة خطيرة في مصر، إذ تفرض قوانين صارمة عقوبات تصل إلى السجن المؤبد أو الإعدام في حالات الاتجار بالمخدرات.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that after legal procedures were taken, the mentioned individual was arrested while residing in the jurisdiction of the Shorouk Police Department in Cairo, and he was found in possession of a quantity of the drugs "hashish" and "cocaine." When confronted, he admitted to possessing the narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
During the investigations, the well-known content creator, who faced complaints due to his indecent videos, admitted to posting the mentioned videos to increase viewership on his social media page with the aim of generating financial profits.
In recent weeks, Egypt has witnessed an intensive campaign by the authorities to monitor digital content on social media platforms, aiming to curb the spread of materials deemed indecent or contrary to the general values of the conservative Egyptian society.
The campaigns are part of the 2018 Cybercrime Law, which grants authorities broad powers to track digital content and ban accounts with more than 5,000 followers if deemed a threat to national security or public morals.
Blogger Mohamed Otaka, known for his videos featuring entertaining and social content, is one of several content creators recently targeted due to what the authorities considered violations of public morals, as Egyptian authorities intensified their efforts to apprehend content creators viewed as promoting inappropriate content.
In addition to the charges related to digital content, the discovery of narcotics such as hashish and cocaine in the possession of the accused is a serious offense in Egypt, as strict laws impose penalties that can reach life imprisonment or the death penalty in cases of drug trafficking.
