مصر: «سوزي الأردنية» متورطة في غسل 15 مليون جنيه

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior issued a statement clarifying the involvement of a content creator residing in the jurisdiction of the Matariya police station in Cairo, confirming that she laundered an amount estimated at around 15 million Egyptian pounds obtained through her illegal activity of creating and managing a page on social media. Media outlets reported that the content creator is named Suzy Al-Urduniya.

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior explained in a statement issued this morning (Wednesday) that as part of efforts to combat money laundering crimes and track the funds of criminal activities, the sector for combating public funds crimes and organized crime, in coordination with the relevant authorities, was able to take legal action against the content creator residing in the jurisdiction of the Matariya police station in Cairo, after confirming that she laundered an amount estimated at around 15 million Egyptian pounds obtained through her illegal activity of creating and managing a page on social media, which she used to publish video clips that included assaults on the values and principles of society with the aim of increasing viewership and achieving illegal financial gains, in violation of the law.

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior added: "The mentioned individual attempted to conceal the sources of the funds and convert them into legally characterized money by purchasing residential units, in an attempt to legitimize her illegally acquired funds, and all necessary legal measures have been taken regarding the incident."
