أغرقت عواصف شمال الصين مدينة «باودينغ» بأمطار تساوي نحو معدل عام كامل، ما أجبر أكثر من 19 ألف شخص على النزوح من منازلهم، حسب ما ذكرت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية الوطنية في الصين اليوم.
وبلغ منسوب هطول الأمطار في مدينة «يي» الواقعة بالجزء الغربي من «باودينغ» 447.4 مليمتر خلال 24 ساعة حتى وقت مبكر من صباح اليوم، وجرى تعديل السجلات في عدد من محطات الأرصاد الجوية
بمقاطعة «خبي»، التي تعد «باودينغ» جزءًا منها.
وتظهر السجلات الرسمية أن متوسط منسوب هطول الأمطار السنوي في «باودينغ» يتجاوز 500 مليمتر.
وقالت إدارة الأرصاد الجوية الصينية: «إنه جرى إجلاء ما مجموعه 19453 شخصًا من 6171 أسرة».
Storms in northern China have inundated the city of "Baoding" with rainfall equivalent to about a full year's average, forcing more than 19,000 people to evacuate their homes, according to the National Meteorological Administration of China today.
The rainfall level in the city of "Yi," located in the western part of "Baoding," reached 447.4 millimeters within 24 hours until early this morning, and records were adjusted at several meteorological stations
in Hebei Province, of which "Baoding" is a part.
Official records show that the average annual rainfall in "Baoding" exceeds 500 millimeters.
The Chinese Meteorological Administration stated: "A total of 19,453 people from 6,171 households have been evacuated."
