أعلن الرئيس الكوري الجنوبي لي جاي ميونج، اليوم، 6 مناطق منكوبة إثر الأمطار الغزيرة التي أسفرت عن دمارٍ في أجزاء من البلاد.
ووجّه الرئيس الكوري السلطات بالحصول على الدعم الإداري والمالي الطارئ واللازم؛ لمساعدة المتضررين والبحث عن المفقودين في مناطق الكوارث، من بينها منطقة جابيونج التي تقع بالقرب من مدينة سول.
وذكرت وزارة الداخلية والأمن في كوريا الجنوبية أن نحو 19 شخصاً لقوا حتفهم، وما زال 9 في عداد المفقودين حتى صباح اليوم، بينما يبلغ عدد النازحين 2549 شخصاً.
The South Korean President Lee Jae-myung announced today that 6 areas have been declared disaster zones due to heavy rains that caused destruction in parts of the country.
The president directed the authorities to obtain the necessary emergency administrative and financial support to assist the affected individuals and search for the missing in the disaster areas, including the Gapyeong area located near Seoul.
The Ministry of Interior and Security in South Korea reported that around 19 people have lost their lives, and 9 are still missing as of this morning, while the number of displaced individuals stands at 2,549.
