تحطمت مروحية تابعة للشرطة الملكية الماليزية، أثناء قيامها باستعراض جوي ضمن فعاليات تمرين ميتساتوم 2025، وهو تمرين أمني مشترك تشارك فيه ماليزيا وإندونيسيا وتايلند وسنغافورة، وذلك بالقرب من رصيف وكالة الملاحة البحرية الماليزية في جيلانج باتاه، جوهور.
وكانت المروحية التابعة للشرطة الملكية الماليزية، تحمل خمسة أفراد من الشرطة، وأسفرت الحادثة عن إصابة اثنين منهم بجروح بالغة، بينما استقرت حالة الثلاثة الآخرين الذين يتلقون العلاج في مستشفى سلطانة أمينة في جوهور بهارو.

ووقعت الحادثة، عندما فقدت المروحية السيطرة خلال مناورة جوية، ما أدى إلى هبوط حاد وسقوطها في نهر قريب من موقع الاستعراض، ووفقًا للتقارير، تم نقل جميع الأفراد الخمسة إلى المستشفى فورا، حيث تلقوا العلاج الفوري بمساعدة أطباء متخصصين.
وأفاد المفتش العام للشرطة الماليزية محمد خالد إسماعيل، أن الشرطة تركز حاليًا على البحث عن الصندوق الأسود لتحديد أسباب الحادثة، مشيرًا إلى أن التحقيقات جارية للكشف عن الظروف التي أدت إلى هذه الحادثة المأساوية.

ويعد تمرين «ميتساتوم 2025» مناورة أمنية مشتركة تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون بين دول جنوب شرق آسيا في مجالات الأمن النووي والاستجابة للطوارئ. يشارك في التمرين أربع دول: ماليزيا، إندونيسيا، تايلند، وسنغافورة، ويُعد منصة لعرض القدرات العسكرية والشرطية في بيئة محاكاة، وكانت المروحية المنكوبة جزءًا من عرض جوي يهدف إلى إبراز الكفاءة التشغيلية للشرطة الماليزية.
وتأتي هذه الواقعة في سياق حوادث جوية سابقة في ماليزيا، بما في ذلك تحطم مروحيتين عسكريتين في أبريل 2024 خلال تدريب للبحرية الملكية في ولاية بيراك، ما أسفر عن مقتل 10 أفراد، حتى دفعت هذه الحوادث المتكررة السلطات الماليزية إلى مراجعة بروتوكولات السلامة الجوية، مع التركيز على صيانة الطائرات والتدريب المناسب للأطقم.
A helicopter belonging to the Royal Malaysian Police crashed while performing an aerial display as part of the MITSATOM 2025 exercise, a joint security drill involving Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, near the Malaysian Maritime Agency dock in Gelang Patah, Johor.
The helicopter, which was carrying five police personnel, resulted in two of them sustaining serious injuries, while the condition of the other three, who are receiving treatment at Sultan Aminah Hospital in Johor Bahru, is stable.

The incident occurred when the helicopter lost control during an aerial maneuver, leading to a sharp descent and its fall into a river near the display site. According to reports, all five individuals were immediately transported to the hospital, where they received prompt medical attention from specialized doctors.
The Inspector General of the Malaysian Police, Mohd Khalid Ismail, stated that the police are currently focusing on searching for the black box to determine the causes of the incident, noting that investigations are underway to uncover the circumstances that led to this tragic event.
