أطلقت شركة «إكس إيه آي» (xAI)، التابعة للملياردير إيلون ماسك، الإصدار الجديد من روبوت الدردشة الذكي «غروك 4»، بعد أشهر قليلة فقط من إصدار النسخة السابقة، مما يعكس الوتيرة المتسارعة لتطوير الذكاء الاصطناعي.
وفي عرض مباشر مساء الأربعاء، ظهر «ماسك» مرتدياً جاكيتاً جلدياً برفقة فريق «إكس إيه آي»، ليكشف النسخة الأحدث التي وصفها بأنها أذكى من معظم طلاب الدراسات العليا في جميع التخصصات في آن واحد.
يتميز «غروك 4» بتحسينات كبيرة في القدرات الصوتية والتفاعلية، حيث أظهرت اختبارات الأداء تفوقه على روبوتات دردشة أخرى مثل «تشات جي بي تي» من «أوبن إيه آي».
وقال ماسك: قد ينقصه أحياناً الحس العام، ولم يبتكر بعد تقنيات جديدة أو يكتشف قوانين فيزيائية، لكن هذا مجرد مسألة وقت، وأضاف أن الروبوت قادر على التعامل مع الأسئلة الهندسية المعقدة وحل المشكلات التي لا توجد إجاباتها في الكتب أو على الإنترنت.
جاء إطلاق «غروك 4» بعد يوم واحد من اضطرار «إكس إيه آي» لحذف منشورات غير لائقة نشرها «غروك 3» على منصة «إكس»، تضمنت تعليقات معادية للسامية ومديحاً لأدولف هتلر.
وأصدرت الشركة بياناً جاء فيه: نحن على علم بالمنشورات الأخيرة لغروك، ونعمل على إزالة المحتوى غير المناسب، وقد اتخذنا إجراءات لمنع خطاب الكراهية قبل نشره على «إكس».
في السياق ذاته، انتقد وزير النقل والبنية التحتية التركي عبد القادر أورال أوغلو «غروك» بسبب منشورات مسيئة استهدفت الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان ومؤسس تركيا الحديثة مصطفى كمال أتاتورك، مهدداً بحظر منصة «إكس» في تركيا إذا لزم الأمر.
وقال أورال أوغلو في تصريح لـ«بلومبيرغ»: استخدام لغة مسيئة غير مقبول، فيما أصدرت محكمة تركية أمراً بحظر بعض محتويات «غروك» بموجب قانون الإنترنت التركي، معتبرة أنها تهدد النظام العام.
يأتي إطلاق «غروك 4» في وقت تشهد فيه «إكس إيه آي» تحولات كبيرة، حيث اندمجت مع منصة «إكس» في مارس الماضي لتعزيز تطوير الروبوت وتوزيعه على قاعدة مستخدمي المنصة.
وفي تطور آخر، أعلنت ليندا ياكارينو، الرئيسة التنفيذية لـ«إكس» استقالتها يوم الأربعاء قبل ساعات من العرض المباشر، تاركة فراغاً قيادياً في المنصة.
وتواجه «إكس إيه آي» منافسة شديدة من عمالقة التكنولوجيا مثل: قوقل، ميتا، أوبن إيه آي، في سباق تطوير الذكاء الاصطناعي.
وتشير تقارير إلى أن الشركة تنفق نحو مليار دولار شهرياً لتحقيق طموحاتها في هذا المجال، مع جمع تمويلات ضخمة لدعم مركز بياناتها «كولوسوس» في ممفيس، تينيسي.
The company "xAI," owned by billionaire Elon Musk, has launched the new version of the intelligent chatbot "Grok 4," just a few months after releasing the previous version, reflecting the rapid pace of artificial intelligence development.
In a live presentation on Wednesday evening, Musk appeared wearing a leather jacket alongside the xAI team to unveil the latest version, which he described as smarter than most graduate students across all disciplines at once.
Grok 4 features significant improvements in voice and interactive capabilities, with performance tests showing it outperformed other chatbots like "ChatGPT" from OpenAI.
Musk stated that it may sometimes lack common sense and has not yet invented new technologies or discovered physical laws, but this is just a matter of time. He added that the robot is capable of handling complex engineering questions and solving problems that do not have answers in books or online.
The launch of Grok 4 came just one day after xAI had to delete inappropriate posts made by Grok 3 on the platform "X," which included anti-Semitic comments and praise for Adolf Hitler.
The company issued a statement saying: We are aware of Grok's recent posts and are working to remove inappropriate content. We have taken measures to prevent hate speech from being published on X.
In a related context, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu criticized Grok for offensive posts targeting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, threatening to ban the platform "X" in Turkey if necessary.
Uraloglu stated in a comment to Bloomberg: The use of offensive language is unacceptable, while a Turkish court issued an order to ban some of Grok's content under Turkish internet law, considering it a threat to public order.
The launch of Grok 4 comes at a time when xAI is undergoing significant transformations, having merged with the platform "X" last March to enhance the development and distribution of the robot to the platform's user base.
In another development, Linda Yaccarino, the CEO of "X," announced her resignation on Wednesday just hours before the live presentation, leaving a leadership vacuum on the platform.
xAI faces intense competition from tech giants such as Google, Meta, and OpenAI in the race to develop artificial intelligence.
Reports indicate that the company is spending about a billion dollars monthly to achieve its ambitions in this field, while raising massive funding to support its data center "Colossus" in Memphis, Tennessee.
