Colombia remains the primary source, while Europe’s seizures have surged to unprecedented levels. The report also recorded alarming levels of amphetamine stimulants and fentanyl, which poses a global threat. In a similar context, Syrian authorities seized large quantities of Captagon at military sites. The report concluded with a warning about a "vicious cycle" linking rising demand to increased production, amid weak international oversight.
