بعد أيام قليلة من استدعاء وزارة التجارة السعودية 88,518 شاحناً متنقلاً من العلامة التجارية ANKER، التي تم بيعها خلال الفترة من سبتمبر 2023 إلى يونيو 2025، أعلن اليوم (الاثنين) جهاز حماية المستهلك في مصر استدعاء عاجلاً لعدد من منتجات «الباور بانك» التابعة للعلامة التجارية «أنكر»، التي توزعها شركة «اتصال»، وذلك بعد اكتشاف عيوب خطيرة في بعض المكونات الداخلية، قد تؤدي إلى ارتفاع شديد في درجات الحرارة، ما يهدد بتوقف الأجهزة عن العمل، أو حتى انصهارها أو انفجارها، ما يشكل خطراً جسيماً على سلامة المستخدمين.
وأوضح جهاز حماية المستهلك في مصر أن هذا الإجراء يأتي في إطار الدور الرقابي لجهاز حماية المستهلك المصري، الذي يعمل وفقاً للقانون رقم 181 لسنة 2018، الذي يلزم الموردين بالإبلاغ الفوري عن أي عيوب في المنتجات قد تشكل خطراً على المستهلكين.
ووفقاً لبيان جهاز حماية المستهلك تلقى الجهاز إخطاراً رسمياً من شركة «اتصال» الوكيل المعتمد لـ«أنكر» في مصر، يفيد بوجود خلل في عملية الإنتاج يتعلق بطريقة اللحام الداخلي للمنتجات، ما دفع الشركة إلى اتخاذ تدابير احترازية فورية بسحب المنتجات من الأسواق وإخطار المستهلكين.
ودعا الجهاز المستهلكين إلى التوقف الفوري عن استخدام هذه المنتجات والتواصل مع شركة «اتصال» لإعادة المنتج أو استبداله أو استرداد قيمته دون أي تكاليف إضافية.
وأكد الجهاز على استمرار متابعته الدقيقة لعملية السحب بالتنسيق مع شركة «اتصال» مع التشديد على فحص الإجراءات الفنية لضمان عدم تكرار مثل هذه الحوادث.
ويعكس هذا الاستدعاء التزام مصر بضمان جودة وسلامة المنتجات المتداولة في السوق، خاصة في ظل تزايد الاعتماد على الأجهزة الإلكترونية مثل «الباور بانك» التي أصبحت جزءاً أساسياً من الحياة اليومية.
وقد أثارت الواقعة مخاوف المستهلكين، الذين طالبوا بتشديد الرقابة على المنتجات الإلكترونية المستوردة، خاصة تلك التي تحمل علامات تجارية عالمية مرموقة مثل «أنكر».
Just a few days after the Saudi Ministry of Commerce recalled 88,518 portable chargers from the ANKER brand, which were sold between September 2023 and June 2025, the Consumer Protection Agency in Egypt announced today (Monday) an urgent recall of several "power bank" products from the "Anker" brand, distributed by "Ittisal" Company, following the discovery of serious defects in some internal components that could lead to a significant increase in temperature, threatening the devices to stop working, or even melting or exploding, posing a serious risk to user safety.
The Consumer Protection Agency in Egypt clarified that this action comes as part of its regulatory role, operating under Law No. 181 of 2018, which requires suppliers to immediately report any defects in products that may pose a danger to consumers.
According to a statement from the Consumer Protection Agency, the agency received an official notification from "Ittisal," the authorized agent for "Anker" in Egypt, indicating a defect in the production process related to the internal welding method of the products, prompting the company to take immediate precautionary measures by withdrawing the products from the market and notifying consumers.
The agency urged consumers to immediately stop using these products and to contact "Ittisal" Company to return the product, exchange it, or receive a refund without any additional costs.
The agency confirmed its continued close monitoring of the recall process in coordination with "Ittisal," emphasizing the examination of technical procedures to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
This recall reflects Egypt's commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of products traded in the market, especially in light of the increasing reliance on electronic devices like "power banks," which have become an essential part of daily life.
The incident has raised concerns among consumers, who have called for stricter oversight of imported electronic products, especially those bearing prestigious global brands like "Anker."
