عاد الهدوء مجدداً إلى مدينة البندقية (فينيسيا)، بعد ثلاثة أيام صاخبة توافد خلالها نجوم الصف الأول، وأفراد من العائلات المالكة إلى إيطاليا لحضور حفل زفاف مؤسس شركة "أمازون الملياردير جيف بيزوس، على مقدمة البرامج التلفزيونية لورين سانشيز.
حفل زفاف بيزوس صاحبه احتجاج نشطاء في البندقية، مشيرين إلى المخاوف بشأن المناخ والسياحة المفرطة.
ويعني مصطلح «السياحة المفرطة» تدفق أعداد هائلة من الزوّار خلال فترات قصيرة، ما يخلق ضغوطاً على البنية التحتية والموارد والخدمات.
زواج القرن
وأقام الملياردير جيف بيزوس، «زواج القرن» كما أطلقت عليه وسائل الإعلام في جزيرة صغيرة ساحرة قرب البندقية، ليتحوّل إلى حدث فاخر مثير للجدل جمع بين نخبة المشاهير وأثرياء العالم في أجواء احتفالية لافتة.
يذكر أن صافي ثروة بيزوس بحسب فوربس، يقدر بنحو 237 مليار دولار، ما يجعله رابع أغنى شخص في العالم خلف مارك زوكربيرغ (253.1 مليار دولار)، ولاري إليسون (253.4 مليار دولار)، وإيلون ماسك (409.8 مليار دولار).
تكلفة حفل الزفاف
أفادت تقارير متعددة بأن تكلفة حفل الزفاف وصلت، كما هو متوقع، إلى ملايين الدولارات، وذكرت «رويترز» أن التكلفة الإجمالية تُقدر بما يراوح بين 46.5 مليون دولار و55.6 مليون دولار.
وذكرت صحيفة «وول ستريت جورنال» أن بيزوس وسانشيز عيّنا شركة «لانزا آند باوسينا»، وهي مجموعة مقرها لندن خططت لحفل زفاف جورج وأمل كلوني عام 2014 في البندقية.
وصرح ممثل عن المجموعة للصحيفة بأن مبادئ المجموعة وتعليمات بيزوس تدعو إلى «تقليل أي إزعاج للمدينة، واحترام سكانها ومؤسساتها، وتوظيف السكان المحليين بشكل كبير في تنظيم الفعاليات».
وقد لقي حفل زفاف عام 2014 استحساناً عاماً، إذ أشاد السكان المحليون بكلوني لاهتمامه واحترامه للبندقية.
من جانبها قدرت وزارة السياحة الإيطالية (الجمعة) النفقات المباشرة لبيزوس وزوجته المستقبلية بمبلغ 28.4 مليون يورو لهذه الحفلة التي استحوذت على اهتمام وسائل الإعلام الإيطالية. وأفادت الوزارة بأنها تتوقع أن تولِّد «الضجة الإعلامية» في شأن الحفلة 895 مليون يورو للمدينة.
عائلات ملكية ونجوم مؤثرون
ووسط اهتمام إعلامي كبيرٍ، وصل ملياردير «أمازون» البالغ من العمر 61 عاماً، وعروسه البالغة من العمر 55 عاماً، يوم الثلاثاء إلى المدينة العائمة لحضور حفل زفافٍ يستمر ثلاثة أيام.
وشهد الاحتفال حضور عدد من أفراد عائلات مالكة ونجوم وشخصيات مؤثرة منهم الملكة رانيا العبدالله والأميرة رجوة الحسين وإيفانكا ترمب وزوجها جاريد كوشنر.
ومن بين الحضور، المؤسس المشارك لشركة «مايكروسوفت» بيل جيتس، ورئيس مجلس إدارة ومؤسس شركة IAC للإنترنت والإعلام باري ديلر، وكذلك المستثمر مايكل كيفز، ومؤسس «دولتشي آند غابانا» الملياردير دومينيكو دولتشي.
وشهدت البندقية حضور عدد كبير من أفراد عائلة كاردشيان بمن فيهم سيدة الأعمال المليارديرة كيم كاردشيان، وكلوي كاردشيان، وكيندال وكايلي جينر، ووالدتهما كريس جينر التي وصلت برفقة شريكها كوري غامبل.
والتُقطت صورٌ للمليارديرة أوبرا وينفري، والصحفية جايل كينغ، اللتين انضمتا إلى سانشيز في رحلة بلو أوريغين الفضائية المثيرة للجدل في أبريل، أثناء وصولهما إلى البندقية يوم الخميس.
وشوهد بعض نجوم الصف الأول في البندقية، بمن فيهم ليوناردو دي كابريو، وفيتوريا سيريتي، وسيدني سويني، وأورلاندو بلوم.

Billionaire Jeff Bezos hosted what the media called the "wedding of the century" on a charming small island near Venice, turning it into a luxurious and controversial event that brought together a celebrity elite and the world's wealthy in a striking festive atmosphere.
It is noted that Bezos's net worth, according to Forbes, is estimated at around $237 billion, making him the fourth richest person in the world behind Mark Zuckerberg ($253.1 billion), Larry Ellison ($253.4 billion), and Elon Musk ($409.8 billion).
Wedding Costs
Multiple reports indicated that the cost of the wedding reached, as expected, millions of dollars, with Reuters reporting that the total cost is estimated to range between $46.5 million and $55.6 million.
The Wall Street Journal mentioned that Bezos and Sanchez hired the London-based company Lanza & Pausina, which planned George and Amal Clooney's wedding in Venice in 2014.
A representative from the group stated to the newspaper that the group's principles and Bezos's instructions call for "minimizing any disruption to the city, respecting its residents and institutions, and significantly employing local residents in organizing the events."
The 2014 wedding received public acclaim, as locals praised Clooney for his attention and respect for Venice.
For its part, the Italian Ministry of Tourism estimated on Friday that the direct expenses for Bezos and his future wife amounted to €28.4 million for this party that captured the attention of the Italian media. The ministry reported that it expects the "media buzz" surrounding the party to generate €895 million for the city.
Royal Families and Influential Stars
Amid significant media attention, the 61-year-old Amazon billionaire and his 55-year-old bride arrived in the floating city on Tuesday for a three-day wedding celebration.
The celebration witnessed the presence of several members of royal families, stars, and influential figures, including Queen Rania Abdullah, Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, Ivanka Trump, and her husband Jared Kushner.

Photos were taken of billionaire Oprah Winfrey and journalist Gayle King, who joined Sanchez on the controversial Blue Origin space flight in April, as they arrived in Venice on Thursday.
Some first-class stars were spotted in Venice, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Vittoria Ceretti, Sydney Sweeney, and Orlando Bloom.
American football star Tom Brady was seen taking a water taxi outside Marco Polo Airport in Venice on Thursday.
