أجلت السلطات الصينية أمس، نحو 49 ألف شخص في محافظة «رونغجيانغ»، و32 ألف شخص في محافظة «تسونغجيانغ»، بسبب فيضانات شديدة في محافظتين بمقاطعة «قويتشو» جنوب غرب الصين؛ نتيجة الأمطار الغزيرة المستمرة وتدفقات المياه.
وشهدت محافظة «رونغجيانغ»، عواصف مطرية غزيرة، حيث تجاوز منسوب المياه بأحد المواقع على نهر «دوليو» مستوى التحذير بمقدار 6.68 متر.
ونشرت فرق الإنقاذ ورجال الإطفاء والمتطوعون، قوارب ومعدات أخرى لأعمال الإنقاذ، وخصصت إدارة الطوارئ بالمقاطعة مواد إغاثة من الكوارث للمحافظتين.
The Chinese authorities evacuated about 49,000 people in "Rongjiang" County and 32,000 people in "Congjiang" County yesterday due to severe flooding in two counties in Guizhou Province, southwest China, as a result of continuous heavy rainfall and water flows.
Rongjiang County experienced heavy rainstorms, with water levels at one site on the "Duliu" River exceeding the warning level by 6.68 meters.
Rescue teams, firefighters, and volunteers deployed boats and other equipment for rescue operations, and the provincial emergency management department allocated disaster relief materials to the two counties.
