الابتكار أثار ردود فعل متباينة؛ حيث عبّر مستخدمون إسرائيليون عن غضبهم واعتبروه تحريضاً غير مقبول، بينما قابل المصريون الأمر بحالة من الفكاهة والسخرية، وعلّق البعض: «الكشري سلاح مصري خالص»، و«أقوى من القبة الحديدية».
