ورغم الكثير من التعليقات المختلفة التي ذهب بعضها إلى الضعف البدني للرئيس الأمريكي، إلا أن تعثر وزير خارجيته روبيو على السلم نفسه وفي المكان ذاته يشير إلى خلل في سلم الطائرة أدى إلى تعثرهما الذي منح خصومهما فرصة الذهاب إلى تدهور في صحة الرئيس الأمريكي ترمب، وهو الذي كان يتشفى بسقوط الرئيس الأمريكي السابق جو بايدن على سلم الطائرة وعثراته في المناسبات والمؤتمرات الصحفية.
The media reported on U.S. President Donald Trump's (78 years old) stumble while ascending the steps of his presidential plane without any official comment from the White House. On the same steps, in the same place, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio (54 years old) also stumbled.
Despite many differing comments, some of which pointed to the physical weakness of the U.S. President, the fact that his Secretary of State Rubio stumbled on the same steps in the same location indicates a malfunction in the plane's stairs that caused both of them to trip.
