في منطقة خاركيف، واجه جنود روس وضعًا غير مسبوق بعدما اقترب من مواقعهم روبوت صغير محمّل بأكثر من 60 كيلوغرامًا من المتفجرات. ولم يكن أمامهم سوى خيار واحد: الاستسلام. ووفقًا لمصادر ميدانية، فإن الجنود الروس رفعوا لافتة كتبوا عليها «نريد الاستسلام»، بعدما أدركوا أن مقاومة هذه التقنية الجديدة شبه مستحيلة.
ويأتي هذا الابتكار العسكري استكمالًا لاستخدام الطائرات المسيّرة التي غيّرت شكل القتال في أوكرانيا خلال الأشهر الماضية. إلا أن الطائرات كانت محدودة في قدرتها على اختراق التحصينات الأرضية، وهو ما عالجته الروبوتات البرية المفخخة، إذ يمكنها المناورة بين العوائق والوصول إلى أهداف محصّنة بدقة متناهية.
ويرى الجيش الأوكراني في هذه التقنية فرصة لإنقاذ أرواح الجنود وتقليل المخاطر في الخطوط الأمامية، في وقت تتزايد فيه الهجمات الروسية. أما المحللون العسكريون، فيؤكدون أن هذا السلاح قد يفتح فصلًا جديدًا في طبيعة الحروب الحديثة، ويحوّل ساحة المعركة إلى مسرح صراع بين الذكاء الاصطناعي والإنسان.
