Recent test results have shown that Google's AI tool outperformed ChatGPT in providing accurate and reliable answers to complex research questions.

In a new experiment conducted by the Washington Post, nine AI systems participated to evaluate their performance across 30 difficult questions that included recent information and visual interpretation, with oversight from three professional librarians to determine the accuracy and reliability of the answers.

The results indicated that Google's tool delivered the best performance, especially in handling recent events and reliable sources, while ChatGPT ranked second, excelling in reducing bias but showing some weaknesses in tracking recent sources.

Other tools such as "Perplexity" excelled in image interpretation, and "Bing Copilot" was noted for accessing rare documents, while tools like "Meta AI" and "Grok" performed poorly, particularly when dealing with complex research questions and relying on unreliable content from social media.

Experts affirm that this experiment highlights the significant advancements in AI technologies, but it emphasizes the necessity of verifying sources and using critical thinking when relying on these tools for research and daily information.
