أبرمت شركة «غوغل»، صفقة للحوسبة السحابية مع «ميتا بلاتفورمز» تتجاوز قيمتها 10 مليارات دولار.
وبموجب الاتفاق، ستستخدم «ميتا» خوادم «غوغل كلاود» وخدمات التخزين والشبكات وغيرها من الخدمات، وفق «رويترز».
وكان مارك زكربيرغ، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة «ميتا»، قد صرح في يوليو الماضي، بأن الشركة تخطط لإنفاق مئات المليارات لبناء عدد من مراكز بيانات ضخمة للذكاء الاصطناعي.
وتسعى «ميتا» لجذب شركاء خارجيين لمساعدتها في تمويل البنية التحتية الضخمة اللازمة لتشغيل الذكاء الاصطناعي، عبر التخلص من أصول مراكز بيانات بقيمة 2 مليار دولار، حسب إفصاح الشركة هذا الشهر.
Google has signed a cloud computing deal with Meta Platforms worth over $10 billion.
Under the agreement, Meta will use Google Cloud servers, storage services, networking, and other services, according to Reuters.
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, stated last July that the company plans to spend hundreds of billions to build several massive data centers for artificial intelligence.
Meta is seeking external partners to help finance the massive infrastructure needed to operate artificial intelligence by divesting data center assets worth $2 billion, according to the company's disclosure this month.
