صادق الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، اليوم، على ما انفردت به «عكاظ» في 3 يناير 2026، بشأن إقامة كأس السوبر السعودي في دولة الكويت، بعد إعلانه رسمياً إقامة النسخة الـ13 من البطولة خلال الفترة من 19 إلى 23 ديسمبر 2026.
وكانت «عكاظ» قد كشفت مطلع يناير الماضي، تحت عنوان «كأس السوبر السعودي.. في الكويت»، توجّه إقامة البطولة في الكويت، قبل أن يأتي الإعلان الرسمي للاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم اليوم، مؤكداً صحة الانفراد بعد أكثر من ثمانية أشهر.
وبحسب الإعلان الرسمي، تقام منافسات البطولة على استاد جابر الأحمد الدولي، بمشاركة أربعة أندية هي النصر والخلود والأهلي والقادسية، على أن تُجرى قرعة البطولة في 14 أكتوبر القادم، لتحديد مواجهتي الدور نصف النهائي.
وتأتي إقامة البطولة في الكويت للمرة الأولى، ضمن مسيرة كأس السوبر السعودي التي تنقّلت خلال نسخها السابقة بين عدد من المدن محلياً ودولياً.
The Saudi Football Federation approved today what "Okaz" reported on January 3, 2026, regarding the hosting of the Saudi Super Cup in the State of Kuwait, after officially announcing the holding of the 13th edition of the tournament from December 19 to 23, 2026.
"Okaz" revealed at the beginning of January last year, under the title "Saudi Super Cup... in Kuwait," the intention to hold the tournament in Kuwait, before the official announcement from the Saudi Football Federation today, confirming the accuracy of the report after more than eight months.
According to the official announcement, the tournament will be held at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, with the participation of four clubs: Al-Nassr, Al-Khulood, Al-Ahli, and Al-Qadisiyah. The draw for the tournament will take place on October 14, to determine the matchups for the semi-finals.
The hosting of the tournament in Kuwait for the first time is part of the journey of the Saudi Super Cup, which has moved between several cities both locally and internationally in its previous editions.
