حسم نادي الاتحاد تأهله إلى مرحلة الدوري من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة لموسم 2026-2027، بعدما اكتسح الجزيرة الإماراتي بنتيجة 4-1، في المواجهة التي جمعتهما اليوم (الثلاثاء) ضمن الملحق المؤهل للبطولة.
وقدم «العميد» أداءً هجومياً قوياً، قاده الهولندي ستيفن بيرغوين الذي تألق بتسجيل هدفين، افتتح بهما مهرجان أهداف الاتحاد في الدقيقتين 12 و38.
وفي الشوط الثاني، واصل الاتحاد تفوقه وأضاف حسام عوار الهدف الثالث عند الدقيقة 54، قبل أن يشارك مروان الصحفي بديلاً، ويحتاج إلى أربع دقائق فقط ليضع بصمته ويسجل الهدف الرابع في الدقيقة 69، بعد تمريرة حاسمة من يوسف النصيري.
وقلص الجزيرة الفارق بهدف عند الدقيقة 80، إلا أن الاتحاد حافظ على تقدمه حتى صافرة النهاية، ليحسم المواجهة برباعية مقابل هدف، ويضمن حضوره رسمياً في مرحلة الدوري من البطولة الآسيوية.
The Al-Ittihad Club secured its qualification to the league stage of the AFC Champions League for the 2026-2027 season after thrashing Al-Jazira of the UAE with a score of 4-1 in the match that took place today (Tuesday) as part of the qualifying playoff for the tournament.
The "Dean" delivered a strong attacking performance, led by the Dutchman Steven Bergwijn, who shone by scoring two goals, opening the scoring for Al-Ittihad in the 12th and 38th minutes.
In the second half, Al-Ittihad continued its dominance and added the third goal through Hossam Aouar in the 54th minute, before Marwan Al-Sahafi came on as a substitute and needed only four minutes to make his mark, scoring the fourth goal in the 69th minute after a decisive pass from Youssef En-Nesyri.
Al-Jazira reduced the deficit with a goal in the 80th minute, but Al-Ittihad maintained its lead until the final whistle, concluding the match with a score of four to one, officially securing its presence in the league stage of the Asian tournament.
