اعتمدت لجنة الانتخابات بوزارة الرياضة قائمتي حازم اللحياني والدكتور عبدالهادي اليامي للانتقال إلى المرحلة الثانية من انتخابات رئاسة نادي الوحدة، المتمثلة في مرحلة الطعون التي تنطلق غداً (الإثنين) وتستمر يوماً واحداً، على أن تتأهل القائمتان إلى المرحلة النهائية حال تجاوز هذه الخطوة، وستُحسم الرئاسة عبر تصويت الجمعية العمومية لاختيار مجلس الإدارة للدورة القادمة الممتدة أربع سنوات.
وفي المقابل، استُبعدت قائمة الدكتور تركي مدخلي من السباق الانتخابي، فيما ينتظر أن يتقدم غداً بطعون على قرار الاستبعاد.
وتشير المعطيات إلى أن حازم اللحياني يتصدر المشهد الانتخابي بوصفه المرشح الأقرب للفوز برئاسة النادي، مدعوماً بقوة تصويتية عززها دعم مالي بلغ خمسة ملايين ريال خُصصت لشراء العضويات الذهبية، وهو ما يمنحه أفضلية واضحة قبل الوصول إلى محطة التصويت النهائية.
ووفقاً للأرقام التي حصلت عليها «عكاظ»، فقد حصدت قائمة اللحياني 4449 صوتاً، مقابل 201 صوت فقط لقائمة الدكتور عبدالهادي اليامي، ما يجعل اللحياني على مقربة كبيرة من حسم سباق الرئاسة وتولي قيادة نادي الوحدة خلال الأعوام الأربعة القادمة.
The Elections Committee at the Ministry of Sports has approved the lists of Hazem Al-Lihyani and Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Yami to advance to the second phase of the elections for the presidency of Al-Wahda Club, which consists of the appeals stage that will begin tomorrow (Monday) and will last for one day. Both lists will qualify for the final stage if they pass this step, and the presidency will be decided through a vote by the General Assembly to select the Board of Directors for the upcoming four-year term.
In contrast, Dr. Turki Makhli's list has been excluded from the electoral race, and he is expected to file appeals against the exclusion decision tomorrow.
Data indicates that Hazem Al-Lihyani is leading the electoral scene as the candidate closest to winning the club presidency, supported by a strong voting base bolstered by financial support amounting to five million riyals allocated for purchasing gold memberships, which gives him a clear advantage before reaching the final voting stage.
According to the figures obtained by "Okaz," Al-Lihyani's list has garnered 4,449 votes, compared to only 201 votes for Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Yami's list, placing Al-Lihyani in a strong position to secure the presidency and lead Al-Wahda Club for the next four years.
