أصدر مجلس إدارة الأهلي المصري بياناً رسمياً، عقب اجتماع عُقد برئاسة محمود الخطيب، وبحضور عدد من قيادات النادي، لمناقشة أوضاع فريق كرة القدم خلال الفترة الماضية.
وأوضح البيان أن الإدارة تتابع عن كثب حالة الحزن والغضب لدى جماهير النادي نتيجة خروج الفريق من البطولة القارية، مؤكداً أن ما تحقق خلال الفترة الماضية لا يتوافق مع حجم الدعم الكبير الذي يحظى به الفريق، ولا يعكس مكانة النادي وتاريخه العريق على الصعيدين المحلي والقاري.
وأشار البيان إلى وجود أخطاء فنية وإدارية يجري العمل على معالجتها بشكل عاجل، مع اتخاذ عدد من القرارات التي تهدف إلى تصحيح المسار والحفاظ على استقرار الفريق خلال المرحلة القادمة، على أن يتم الإعلان عن تفاصيل هذه القرارات تباعاً.
كما أكد البيان بدء عملية إعادة تقييم شاملة لقطاع كرة القدم، تشمل جميع العناصر، بما يتماشى مع رؤية النادي ومعايير الاحتراف في مختلف الجوانب، ضمن خطة تهدف إلى تطوير الأداء وضمان استمرارية النجاح على المدى الطويل.
واختتمت الإدارة بيانها بالتأكيد على ثقتها في جماهير النادي، مشيدة بدورها الداعم، ومشددة على العمل الجاد لتجاوز المرحلة الحالية، والعودة بالفريق إلى المسار الذي يحقق تطلعات محبي النادي ويليق بتاريخ الأهلي الكبير.
The Board of Directors of Al Ahly Club issued an official statement following a meeting chaired by Mahmoud El Khatib, attended by several club leaders, to discuss the conditions of the football team during the past period.
The statement clarified that the management is closely monitoring the sadness and anger among the club's fans due to the team's exit from the continental championship, affirming that what has been achieved during the past period does not align with the significant support the team receives, nor does it reflect the club's status and its rich history on both local and continental levels.
The statement pointed out that there are technical and administrative errors that are being urgently addressed, along with the adoption of several decisions aimed at correcting the course and maintaining the team's stability during the upcoming phase, with details of these decisions to be announced successively.
It also confirmed the initiation of a comprehensive reassessment process for the football sector, encompassing all elements, in line with the club's vision and professional standards in various aspects, as part of a plan aimed at enhancing performance and ensuring long-term success.
The management concluded its statement by reaffirming its confidence in the club's fans, praising their supportive role, and emphasizing the hard work needed to overcome the current phase and return the team to the path that meets the aspirations of the club's supporters and honors the great history of Al Ahly.
