من المقرر أن تعقد لجنة المسابقات بالاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم، اجتماعًا مهمًا يوم الثلاثاء القادم، وذلك لمناقشة مستقبل دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية، لاسيما ما يتعلق بالمراحل النهائية من المسابقة.
وسيتركز اجتماع اللجنة التي يترأسها الدكتور خالد المقرن بشكل رئيس على بحث الآلية المناسبة لاستكمال مباريات الدور نصف النهائي والمباريات النهائية، في ظل المستجدات الحالية و الوضع الراهن بالمنطقة، وبما يضمن استمرارية المنافسة وفق أفضل المعايير التنظيمية.
وكان الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم قد أشار في وقت سابق إلى أن لجنة المسابقات ستقوم بدراسة ملف استكمال البطولة، على أن يتم اتخاذ القرار المناسب في ضوء التوصيات التي ستخرج بها اللجنة.
ومن المتوقع أن تأخذ اللجنة خلال اجتماعها في الاعتبار كافة الجوانب التنظيمية واللوجستية، بما يكفل إقامة المباريات المتبقية وفق مبادئ العدالة والمساواة بين الفرق المتنافسة، والحفاظ على الروح الرياضية التي تميز المسابقات.
The Gulf Football Federation's Competitions Committee is scheduled to hold an important meeting next Tuesday to discuss the future of the Gulf Clubs Champions League, particularly regarding the final stages of the competition.
The meeting, chaired by Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin, will primarily focus on exploring the appropriate mechanisms for completing the semi-final and final matches, in light of the current developments and the prevailing situation in the region, ensuring the continuity of the competition according to the best organizational standards.
The Gulf Football Federation had previously indicated that the Competitions Committee would study the file for completing the tournament, with a decision to be made based on the recommendations that will emerge from the committee.
It is expected that the committee will take into account all organizational and logistical aspects during its meeting, ensuring that the remaining matches are held according to the principles of fairness and equality among the competing teams, while maintaining the sportsmanship that characterizes the competitions.
