حقق لاعب المنتخب السعودي لفنون القتال المختلطة عبدالإله مير عالم، الميدالية الذهبية الأولى للمملكة في منافسات دورة الألعاب الآسيوية للشباب – البحرين 2025، بعد فوزه في نهائي منافسات فنون القتال المختلطة لوزن 75 كغم على اللاعب الكازاخستاني أورداباييف ييرالي.
وجاء التتويج خلال الحفل الرسمي الذي أقيم عقب نهاية النزال، إذ قام نائب رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير فهد بن جلوي بتسليم الميدالية الذهبية للبطل السعودي.
ويعد هذا الإنجاز أول ميدالية ذهبية تحصدها البعثة السعودية في النسخة الحالية من دورة الألعاب الآسيوية للشباب، في إطار المشاركة التي تشهد تنافساً واسعاً بين المنتخبات الآسيوية في مختلف الألعاب الفردية والجماعية.
The Saudi national mixed martial arts player Abdulilah Mir Alam has won the first gold medal for the Kingdom in the Asian Youth Games – Bahrain 2025, after defeating the Kazakh player Ordabayev Yirali in the final of the mixed martial arts competition in the 75 kg weight category.
The award ceremony took place during the official event held after the match, where the Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Fahd bin Jiluwi, presented the gold medal to the Saudi champion.
This achievement marks the first gold medal won by the Saudi delegation in the current edition of the Asian Youth Games, amidst a wide competition among Asian teams in various individual and team sports.
