علّق مدرب الأهلي الألماني ماتياس يايسله على الأنباء التي ترددت حول اقتراب رحيل نجم الفريق إيفان توني خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية القادمة.
وجلس توني على مقاعد البدلاء أمام النجمة في المباراة التي أُقيمت مساء (الخميس)، ضمن منافسات الجولة السادسة من دوري روشن السعودي، قبل أن يشارك في الدقيقة 69 بدلاً من فراس البريكان.
وبسؤاله عمّا إذا كان جلوس توني على مقاعد البدلاء مؤشراً على رحيله عن الأهلي في الميركاتو الشتوي القادم، أجاب يايسله عقب اللقاء: «من المؤكد أنني لن أرد على الشائعات، لأن هناك الكثير منها على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في هذه الأيام، وهو ما يجعل أي ردٍ غير مجدٍ».
وأضاف: «قررنا البدء بـ«فراس» أمام النجمة، وهو مهاجم رائع، وكان القرار خاصاً بهذه المباراة فقط».

وحقق الأهلي فوزاً صعباً على النجمة بهدفٍ نظيف سجله فراس البريكان في الدقيقة 34، ليرفع «الراقي» رصيده إلى 12 نقطة صاعداً إلى المركز الرابع مؤقتاً، فيما بقي النجمة دون نقاط في المركز الثامن عشر.
The German coach of Al-Ahli, Matthias Jaissle, commented on the rumors regarding the potential departure of the team's star, Ivan Toney, during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Toney sat on the bench against Al-Najma in the match that took place on Thursday evening, as part of the sixth round of the Roshan Saudi League, before he participated in the 69th minute, replacing Firas Al-Buraikan.
When asked whether Toney sitting on the bench was an indication of his departure from Al-Ahli in the upcoming winter transfer market, Jaissle responded after the match: "I certainly will not respond to rumors, as there are many of them on social media these days, which makes any response futile."
He added: "We decided to start with 'Firas' against Al-Najma, he is a great striker, and the decision was specific to this match only."

Al-Ahli achieved a hard-fought victory over Al-Najma with a clean goal scored by Firas Al-Buraikan in the 34th minute, raising "The Elegant's" points to 12, temporarily climbing to fourth place, while Al-Najma remained without points in eighteenth place.
