يستضيف الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم منافسات المجموعة (B) من التصفيات المؤهلة إلى كأس آسيا للناشئات تحت (17) عامًا 2026، خلال الفترة من (13) إلى (17) أكتوبر الجاري، على ملعب الأمير سعود بن جلوي بمدينة الخبر.
وتضم المجموعة إلى جانب المنتخب السعودي، منتخبات الكويت، وإيران، ولبنان، إذ تتنافس المنتخبات الأربعة بنظام الدوري المجمع، ويخوض كل منتخب 3 مباريات، سعيًا للتأهل إلى نهائيات كأس آسيا للناشئات تحت (17) عامًا 2026 التي ستستضيفها الصين.
وتأتي هذه الاستضافة امتدادًا للزخم الكبير الذي تشهده كرة القدم النسائية السعودية في السنوات الأخيرة، على مستوى المنتخبات الوطنية والمسابقات المحلية، ومنها الدوري الممتاز للسيدات، وكأس الاتحاد للسيدات، والدوري الممتاز للناشئات، وبطولة الاتحاد للفتيات، في انعكاس واضح للتطور التنظيمي والفني الذي يشهده القطاع النسائي في الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم.
وثمّن الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ثقة الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم بمنح المملكة حق استضافة التصفيات، مؤكدًا أن هذه الخطوة تأتي استمرارًا للدور الريادي للمملكة في تمكين المرأة وتعزيز مشاركتها في مختلف المجالات، خصوصًا في قطاع كرة القدم الذي يشهد نموًا متسارعًا على الصعيدين الفني والتنظيمي.
وأكد الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم أن استضافة التصفيات تمثل فرصة مثالية لاكتساب الخبرات الدولية للاعبات الفئات السنية، وتعزيز الحضور القاري للمنتخبات النسائية السعودية، بما يتماشى مع رؤية المملكة 2030 الهادفة إلى بناء جيل رياضي طموح يسعى لتحقيق التميز محليًا وقاريًا وعالميًا.

The Saudi Football Federation is hosting the matches of Group (B) of the qualifiers for the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2026, from October 13 to 17, at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium in Al Khobar.
In addition to the Saudi national team, the group includes the national teams of Kuwait, Iran, and Lebanon, with the four teams competing in a round-robin format, where each team plays 3 matches, striving to qualify for the finals of the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2026, which will be hosted by China.
This hosting comes as a continuation of the significant momentum that Saudi women's football has witnessed in recent years, both at the national team level and in local competitions, including the Women's Premier League, the Women's Federation Cup, the U-17 Women's Premier League, and the Girls' Federation Championship, reflecting the clear organizational and technical development in the women's sector of the Saudi Football Federation.
The Saudi Football Federation appreciated the trust of the Asian Football Confederation in granting the Kingdom the right to host the qualifiers, emphasizing that this step continues the Kingdom's pioneering role in empowering women and enhancing their participation in various fields, especially in the football sector, which is experiencing rapid growth both technically and organizationally.
The Saudi Football Federation confirmed that hosting the qualifiers represents an ideal opportunity for the youth players to gain international experience and enhance the continental presence of Saudi women's teams, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 aimed at building an ambitious sports generation striving for excellence locally, regionally, and globally.
