ولم يكتفِ أوباميانج بتسجيل رباعية لمنتخب بلاده بل اختتمها بالحصول على بطاقة حمراء عند الدقيقة 85 ليغيب عن مواجهة منتخب بلاده في الجولة الأخيرة من التصفيات أمام منتخب بوروندي.
ورفع أوباميانج رصيده لـ 7 أهداف في تصفيات كأس العالم 2026 والتي يتصدرها النجم المصري محمد صلاح برصيد 9 أهداف.
ويحتدم الصراع في الجولة الأخيرة من المجموعة ما بين منتخبي كوت ديفوار والجابون على البطاقة المؤهلة مباشرة للمونديال، ويتصدر منتخب كوت ديفوار الترتيب برصيد 23 نقطة وسيلتقي مع كينيا في الجولة الأخيرة يوم الثلاثاء القادم.
فيما يحتل الجابون المركز الثاني برصيد 22 نقطة، وسيستضيف بوروندي في الجولة الأخيرة بنفس التوقيت.
ويتأهل المتصدر مباشرة لنهائيات كأس العالم 2026، فيما يلعب صاحب المركز الثاني في الملحق الأفريقي لحسم بطاقة القارة في الملحق العالمي.
