توقَّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الخميس)، استمرار تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق حائل، وتبوك، والجوف، والحدود الشمالية، والشرقية، تمتد إلى أجزاء من منطقة نجران، قد تصل إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من منطقتي المدينة المنورة ومكة المكرمة، وعلى طول طريق الساحل الواصل إلى جازان. في حين لا تزال الفرصة مهيأة لهطول أمطار رعدية على أجزاء من المرتفعات الغربية والجنوبية الغربية للمملكة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 15-40 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين يصل إلى أعلى من مترين ونصف على الجزء الأوسط، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج على الجزء الأوسط.
وفي الخليج العربي ستكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة 10-30 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Thursday) that the effects of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of the regions of Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, and the Eastern region, extending to parts of the Najran region. This may lead to near-zero visibility in parts of the Medina and Makkah regions, as well as along the coastal road leading to Jazan. Meanwhile, the chance of thunderstorm rains remains available in parts of the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.
The report indicated that the surface winds on the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-40 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h in the central part, with wave heights ranging from one to two meters, and exceeding two and a half meters in the central part. The sea condition is light to moderate waves, becoming rough in the central part.
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be northwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10-30 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter, and the sea condition is light waves.
