حقق منتخبنا الوطني الأول لكرة القدم انتصاراً مهماً على ضيفه منتخب إندونيسيا بثلاثة أهداف لهدفين، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما اليوم (الأربعاء) على استاد مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ضمن الجولة الأولى من منافسات المجموعة الثانية في ملحق التصفيات الآسيوية – الطريق إلى كأس العالم 2026.
أحرز أهداف منتخبنا الوطني صالح أبو الشامات (د:17) وفراس البريكان هدفين (من ركلة جزاء د:36، 62)، وأحرز هدفي إندونيسيا اللاعب كيفين ديكس من ركلتي جزاء (د:11، 88).
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية لمنتخبنا الوطني الذي سيطر على اللقاء، ومن خطأ لمنتخب إندونيسيا من كرة عرضية ارتطمت بيد المدافع حسان تمبكتي وبعد العودة لتقنية الفيديو احتسب الحكم الكويتي أحمد العلي ركلة جزاء تقدم لها كيفين ديكس محرزاً الهدف الأول لإندونيسيا (د:11)، وجاء الرد السعودي سريعاً بعد ضغط عالٍ على الدفاع الإندونيسي وقطع مصعب الجوير الكرة ومررها لصالح أبو الشامات الذي تخطى مدافع إندونيسيا ومن ثم سددها قوية من على حدود منطقة الجزاء بقدمه اليسرى لتسكن الشباك هدف وتعادل لمنتخبنا الوطني (د:17)، وعاد أبو الشامات ليطلق قذيفة أخرى قوية لكنها ارتطمت في العارضة، ومن كرة عرضية تعرض فراس البريكان للعرقلة وبعد العودة لتقنية الفيديو احتسب الحكم ركلة جزاء تقدم لها فراس البريكان وأحرزها بنجاح هدفاً ثانياً لمنتخبنا (د:36).
وفي الشوط الثاني تألق فراس البريكان مجدداً محرزاً الهدف الشخصي الثاني والثالث للمنتخب السعودي (د:62)، ومن غفوة دفاعية ارتطمت الكرة بيد نواف بوشل ليحتسب الحكم ركلة جزاء لإندونيسيا تقدم لها كيفين ديكس محرزاً هدفاً ثانياً لإندونيسيا (د:88)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع منح الحكم الكويتي بطاقة حمراء لمحمد كنو، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز منتخبنا الوطني بثلاثة أهداف لهدفين.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الأخضر السعودي انتصاره الأول ويحصد النقاط الثلاث، فيما بقي منتخب إندونيسيا دون نقاط، وسيلتقي يوم الجمعة منتخب إندونيسيا والعراق على الملعب ذاته.
ويتأهل إلى نهائيات كأس العالم صاحب المركز الأول في كل من المجموعتين الأولى والثانية، على أن ينتقل المنتخبان الحاصلان على المركز الثاني من أجل خوض الدور الإقصائي من ملحق التصفيات الآسيوية، لتحديد الفريق المتأهل إلى المحفل العالمي.
Our national football team achieved an important victory over its guest, the Indonesian national team, with a score of three goals to two, in the match that took place today (Wednesday) at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the first round of the second group in the Asian qualifiers – the road to the 2026 World Cup.
The goals for our national team were scored by Saleh Abu Shamat (17'), and Feras Al-Breikan with two goals (one from a penalty at 36', and another at 62'). Indonesia's goals were scored by Kevin Diks from two penalties (11', 88').
The match witnessed a strong start from our national team, which dominated the game. Following a mistake by the Indonesian team from a cross that hit the hand of defender Hassan Tambakti, the Kuwaiti referee Ahmad Al-Ali awarded a penalty after reviewing the video technology, which Kevin Diks converted to score the first goal for Indonesia (11'). The Saudi response was quick after high pressure on the Indonesian defense, where Musab Al-Juwair intercepted the ball and passed it to Saleh Abu Shamat, who bypassed an Indonesian defender and then shot powerfully from the edge of the penalty area with his left foot to find the net, equalizing for our national team (17'). Abu Shamat then launched another powerful shot, but it hit the crossbar. From a cross, Feras Al-Breikan was fouled, and after reviewing the video technology, the referee awarded a penalty which Feras Al-Breikan successfully converted, scoring the second goal for our team (36').
In the second half, Feras Al-Breikan shone again, scoring his second personal goal and the third for the Saudi team (62'). Due to a defensive lapse, the ball hit Nawaf Boushal's hand, leading the referee to award a penalty to Indonesia, which Kevin Diks converted to score Indonesia's second goal (88'). In stoppage time, the Kuwaiti referee issued a red card to Mohammed Kanno, ending the match with our national team winning three goals to two.
With this result, the Saudi Green achieves its first victory and collects three points, while the Indonesian team remains without points. Indonesia will face Iraq on the same pitch on Friday.
The top team from both the first and second groups will qualify for the World Cup finals, while the two teams finishing in second place will proceed to the knockout stage of the Asian qualifiers to determine the team that qualifies for the global event.
