ضبطت القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي مواطنين مخالفين لنظام البيئة؛ الأول لدخوله بمركبته في الفياض والروضات البرية المحمية في محمية الملك عبدالعزيز الملكية، والآخر لارتكابه مخالفة التخييم دون ترخيص في محمية الإمام فيصل بن تركي الملكية، وطُبقت الإجراءات النظامية بحقهما.
وأوضحت القوات الخاصة أن عقوبة دخول المركبات والسيارات في الفياض والروضات البرية المحمية تصل إلى 2,000 ريال، وأن عقوبة مخالفة التخييم في الغابات أو المتنزهات الوطنية دون ترخيص غرامة تصل إلى 3,000 ريال، حاثةً على الإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية على الرقم (911) بمناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) و(996) في بقية مناطق المملكة، وستعامل جميع البلاغات بسرية تامة دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
The Special Forces for Environmental Security apprehended citizens violating environmental regulations; the first for entering with his vehicle into the protected wetlands and pastures in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, and the other for committing a camping violation without a permit in the Imam Faisal bin Turki Royal Reserve, and legal procedures were applied against them.
The Special Forces clarified that the penalty for entering vehicles into the protected wetlands and pastures can reach 2,000 riyals, and that the penalty for camping violations in forests or national parks without a permit can be a fine of up to 3,000 riyals. They urged reporting any cases that represent an assault on the environment or wildlife to the number (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, assuring that all reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any liability on the reporter.
