The Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, congratulated our national under-17 team on winning the Gulf Cup after their victory in the final match against the UAE team with a score of two goals to none.

In a post on his account on the "X" platform, the Minister of Sports said: "I congratulate our under-17 team on winning the Gulf Cup, and I wish them all the best in their upcoming journey towards a bright future, God willing."

Yasser Al-Mashel, the President of the Saudi Football Federation, also extended his congratulations through his official account on the "X" platform, stating: "I congratulate our heroes, the players of the national under-17 team, and the technical and administrative staff, on winning the Gulf Cup 2025. This is a wonderful achievement added to the record of youth teams' accomplishments, illuminating the bright future of Saudi football, embodying the support of the wise leadership - may God protect it - and the interest and follow-up of the Minister of Sports. Congratulations to the Saudi fans, and with God's will, may the achievements and joys continue."

Saudi legend Majed Abdullah also congratulated the youth team on their title win, saying on his account on the "X" platform: "I congratulate our Saudi under-17 team on winning the Gulf Cup after defeating our brother team, the UAE. A commendable level and a promising start for a future generation, God willing, that will serve Saudi football and the national team in the future. I wish them all the best in their upcoming journey."
