أكد مدرب المنتخب السعودي لكرة القدم للناشئين عبدالوهاب الحربي جاهزية فريقه لمواجهة نظيره الإماراتي غداً (الجمعة) في المباراة النهائية لبطولة كأس الخليج لكرة القدم لمنتخبات الناشئين تحت 17 عاماً، التي يستضيفها استاد حمد الكبير في العاصمة القطرية الدوحة.
وأوضح الحربي خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد اليوم أن المنتخب السعودي يتطلع إلى الظهور بالمستوى المأمول وحصد اللقب، مشيداً في الوقت نفسه بالمستويات التي قدمها المنتخب الإماراتي خلال البطولة، ومؤكداً أن البطولة الخليجية منحت المنتخبات المشاركة فوائد فنية كبيرة، كما أسهمت في تكوين رؤية واضحة للتشكيلة السعودية التي ستشارك في المنافسات المونديالية القادمة.
من جانبه، أعرب لاعب المنتخب السعودي عبدالعزيز الفواز عن ثقته بزملائه اللاعبين، مؤكداً أن المعنويات مرتفعة والرغبة كبيرة لتحقيق الفوز وإسعاد الجماهير.
بدوره، شدد مدرب منتخب الإمارات ماجد الزعابي صعوبة المباراة النهائية أمام المنتخب السعودي الذي وصفه بالفريق القوي وصاحب المواهب الواعدة، مشيراً إلى أن المباراة ستكون فرصة لاكتساب المزيد من الاحتكاك والخبرة.
وأشاد الزعابي بالتنظيم المميز للبطولة وجاهزية الملاعب ومرافق التدريب ومقار الإقامة في قطر.
من جهته، أكد قائد منتخب الإمارات عبدالرحمن العواني تطلع لاعبي منتخب بلاده لتحقيق اللقب، معترفاً في الوقت ذاته بصعوبة المهمة أمام المنتخب السعودي، مشيراً إلى أن البطولة مثلت فرصة كبيرة لإعداد اللاعبين والتحضير للاستحقاقات القادمة، وفي مقدمتها كأس العالم للناشئين FIFA قطر 2025 التي ستقام الشهر القادم.

The coach of the Saudi Arabian national under-17 football team, Abdulwahab Al-Harbi, confirmed his team's readiness to face their Emirati counterparts tomorrow (Friday) in the final match of the Gulf Cup for under-17 national teams, hosted at Hamad Al-Kabeer Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Al-Harbi explained during the press conference held today that the Saudi team is looking forward to performing at the expected level and winning the title, while also praising the performances of the Emirati team during the tournament. He emphasized that the Gulf Cup has provided participating teams with significant technical benefits and has contributed to forming a clear vision for the Saudi lineup that will participate in the upcoming World Cup competitions.
For his part, Saudi player Abdulaziz Al-Fawaz expressed his confidence in his teammates, affirming that morale is high and the desire to win and make the fans happy is strong.
Meanwhile, UAE coach Majid Al-Zaabi stressed the difficulty of the final match against the Saudi team, which he described as a strong team with promising talents, noting that the match will be an opportunity to gain more experience and exposure.
Al-Zaabi praised the excellent organization of the tournament and the readiness of the stadiums, training facilities, and accommodation in Qatar.
For his part, UAE captain Abdulrahman Al-Owaini confirmed that the players of his national team are eager to win the title, while also acknowledging the difficulty of the task against the Saudi team.
