أعلن الجيش الباكستاني مقتل 12 عسكرياً وشرطيين اثنين وموظف في هجوم بسيارة مفخخة استهدف حاجزاً أمنياً في ولاية خيبر بختونخوا بشمال غربي باكستان المحاذي لأفغانستان.
وأفاد في بيان، اليوم (الجمعة)، بأن مسلحين نصبوا كميناً لسيارة تقل قاضياً في منطقة تقع جنوب غربي باكستان المضطرب، الخميس، ما أسفر عن مقتله ومقتل حارسه الأمني قبل أن يلوذوا بالفرار، وفق ما أفاد مسؤولو الشرطة والحكومة.
وقع الهجوم في منطقة مستونج، في إقليم بلوشستان، حيث كثف المتمردون الانفصاليون هجماتهم على قوات الأمن والمدنيين في الأشهر الأخيرة.
وقال مسؤول الشرطة في مستونج عبدالرؤوف إن القاضي عبدالحكيم كاكر كان مسافراً من مدينة كويتا، عاصمة الإقليم، إلى مستونج للنظر في القضايا المعروضة عليه عندما «نصب إرهابيون كميناً لسيارته وقتلوه هو وحارسه».
ورغم أن الهجوم لم تتبنه أي جماعة، فإن أصابع الاتهام تشير على الأرجح إلى المتمردين الانفصاليين البلوش، الذين كثفوا من هجماتهم في جميع أنحاء الإقليم في غضون الأشهر الأخيرة، خصوصاً ما يسمى «جيش بلوشستان» المحظور.
وكان الجيش الباكستاني، أعلن يوم الجمعة الماضي، مقتل 24 مسلحاً خلال سلسلة عمليات عسكرية في إقليم خيبر-بختو شمال غربي البلاد، في أعقاب تصاعد الهجمات المسلحة، وآخرها هجوم انتحاري بسيارة مفخخة استهدف قوات الأمن ومدنيين في منطقة بانو.
وقال في بيان، إن القوات الأمنية نفذت خلال الساعات الـ24 الماضية عمليات مشتركة واسعة النطاق في منطقة بانو والمناطق المجاورة، أسفرت، بعد اشتباكات عنيفة، عن مقتل 24 مسلحاً، إلى جانب ضبط كميات من الأسلحة والذخائر كانت بحوزتهم.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم الجيش الباكستاني أحمد شريف شودري أن العملية جاءت في ظل «التصاعد الأخير في الأنشطة الإرهابية» التي استهدفت قوات الشرطة، والهجوم الانتحاري الذي شهدته بانو، مؤكداً أن القوات باشرت عمليات استخباراتية لتعقب منفذي الهجمات والبنية الداعمة لهم.

It reported in a statement today (Friday) that militants ambushed a vehicle carrying a judge in a region located in southwestern Pakistan, on Thursday, resulting in his death and that of his security guard before they fled, according to police and government officials.
The attack occurred in the Mastung area, in Balochistan province, where separatist militants have intensified their attacks on security forces and civilians in recent months.
Police official in Mastung, Abdul Raoof, stated that Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar was traveling from Quetta, the provincial capital, to Mastung to hear the cases presented to him when "terrorists ambushed his vehicle and killed him and his guard."
Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, the finger of blame is likely to point towards Baloch separatist militants, who have ramped up their attacks across the province in recent months, particularly the so-called banned "Balochistan Army."
Last Friday, the Pakistani army announced the death of 24 militants during a series of military operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan, following a surge in armed attacks, the latest being a suicide car bomb attack targeting security forces and civilians in the Bannu area.
It stated that security forces carried out extensive joint operations in the Bannu area and surrounding regions over the past 24 hours, which resulted, after fierce clashes, in the killing of 24 militants, along with the seizure of quantities of weapons and ammunition in their possession.
Pakistani army spokesman Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry explained that the operation came in light of the "recent escalation in terrorist activities" targeting police forces, and the suicide attack witnessed in Bannu, emphasizing that the forces initiated intelligence operations to track down the perpetrators of the attacks and their supporting infrastructure.
